What garbage. Used to be a program that would play Whites. Trey Quinn and Zach Line standing out in my mind. Now a glorified HBCU….

Go back far enough and SMU at one time had a backfield of Craig James and Eric Dickerson. James in 1985 rushed for 1,227 yards for the Patriots and then what followed was the infamous quarter century drought until Peyton Hillis broke through in 2010.

Dickerson was a great running back, but James gained 3,742 rushing yards in four years for the Mustangs, including 1,147 in 1981 and 938 in '82, even while Dickerson led the country over those same two years (1,428 and 1,617).

Looking at James' stats at SMU, he averaged 4.8 yards per rush, good but not great. What he represents is the last White running back who was treated simply as a running back like so many White RBs before him even as they were being faded out, not as some kind of freak as White RBs became overnight post-Riggins and James, whose career was cut short by injuries after his big year in '85, leading the Patriots to the Super Bowl only to be slaughtered by Ditka's Bears, who had Matt Suhey and a half White starting team.

I don’t doubt what you guys are saying about the college ranks. However some of the best coaches, in terms of “fairness”, at the NFL level are the youngest. McVey, Shanahan, O’Connell and possibly Ben Johnson to name a few. Then we had and have elderly cretins like Pete Carroll and Andy Reid pushing the Caste System for decades. So I don’t think it’s a simple age thing across the board.

Agree. We've had posters state that black head coaches are fairer than White ones, but just like with the above examples cited by Freethinker, some are relatively fairer while others are as hard core as they come. Age and race aren't big factors from my experience.

All head coaches are public figures, and just as with all public figures and celebrities they know the official and unofficial rules of Amerika 2.0 and they abide by them. They know what they can and can't say and with football they're all aware of the racial rules no matter how they may feel privately. Some embrace the Caste System more than others to the extent they've ever even thought in those terms, but don't overthink it, they're all part of the (anti-White) system that pays them very, very well.
