Class of 2026

Hesitant regarding Walker! I think Minnesota would have been a great spot for him!

Says he is a 3 star recruit. Wonder what it would take for him to have been considered 4 stars?

Seems like a very subjective process

several of the articles i read on Jett Walker talked about his speed, but i didn’t see any numbers to quantify it. does anyone know what he ran on the track or in the 40?

HUDL has him running a 4.55 40 and 11.2 100M. He's 6'2 215 lbs. He looks faster on film.
Clemson's Sammy Brown at 6'2, 235 ran a4.45 40 and 10.6 100M. He played some RB in HS.

thanks. solid times but certainly not elite. surprised that a blue collar guy would get big offers without eye-popping measurables.

So he’s not slow, but not shockingly fast. Not that it makes that much difference in terms of actual performance, I think the “measurables” frankly don’t mean that much
 
Kaegan Ash commits to Texas Tech, where he will play LB. Yes, linebacker at 5'11" and 210 lbs, and a legitimate 4.47 40.

The class of 2026 has a few 4 star White safeties per 247sports - nice to see our guys actually get some recognition coming out of high school. I think Koi Perich was the last White 4 star safety prior to this year.

RB Evan Hampton ( 6'-0 205 Owensboro KY) ...4 star Rivals ; 3 stars ESPN / 24 7
& Nashville TN 3 star WR Owen Cabell (6'-3" 195)

So went to Rivals to see the "TOP 50 RBs" across the U.S.
First White RB did not appear until @ #27 Ethan Hampton
....next #37th Jett Walker (6'-2" 205 Georgetown TX) to TEXAS
#41 John Hebert (5"10" 185 Houston TX) staying in his city HOUSTON U.
#43 Crew Davis (6'-0 205 New Rochelle NY) headed to NORTH CAROLINA

Though that's still scant ; FOUR in the TOP 50 is actually a decent number compared to Recruiting Services in years past when it might have only been 1 or 2....


This is what prompted me to a place like CF; seeing the disproportional numbers manifest themselves more n more over the years

So checking "Rivals " Safety"" almost the SAME as the RB's ==== 5 out of 50 (not including mixed)
Finally @ #25th Gavin Day (6'-3" 190 Las Vegas NV) to WASHINGTON ...Alex McLaughlin / No.Arizona transfer should be ALL BIG 10 and at least "3rd Team All American" by seasons end!

Climbing the list @ #31 Jett Goldberry (6'-0 195 Lincoln City IND) going to PURDUE (originally surprisingly committed to Ole Miss / Lane Kiffin) ....does this end up like Dillon Theineman who later transferred to Oregon??

#40 Bucky just pointed out ...Matt Seig ( 6- 0 185 McDonald PA) going to WEST VIRGINIA ...they need some White DBs
#43 Zachary Taylor (6'-0 180 Fulshear TX) going to TCU
#44 Luke Thompson ( 6'-1" 175) Franklin TN) to TENNESSEE
...ESPN & 24 7 List him as a "Athlete" ....Walk on Will Brooks started DB there last year (cut rookie UDFA Chiefs )

Not even discussing Corner Backs

Will check WRs later ..but ..Brady Marchese (6'-0 185 Cartersville GA) was the First WR listed @ #13 to GEORGIA

Hopefully he will get to play. I find it odd that Ohio State keeps recruiting black QBs yet it was Will Howard that won them a championship and Julian Sayin just delivered an undefeated season including a dominant performance against Michigan.
