2025 NFL Week 11

I just looked up his PFF.
It’s somewhre in the middle of the pack.
I thought it would be higher....
DeJean has an 8 out of 109
Here is an AI breakdown from Grok:

Riley Moss PFF Grade: 57.8 (ranks #85 out of 120 qualifying CBs)
Why it’s not higher:

1. Targeted a ton
• Leads the NFL with 42 targets through Week 10.
• QBs attack him as the “other” corner opposite Pat Surtain.
• Allowed 28 completions for 262 yards—2nd-most yards surrendered among CBs.

2. Penalties hurt
• 5 defensive pass interference calls (tied for 4th-most).
• Each DPI costs -2 to -3 grade points in PFF’s system.

3. Tackling lapses
• 4 missed tackles (15% miss rate).
• Run defense grade ~62; PFF values clean form tackles.

4. PFF’s formula vs. reality
• Elite 39.1% completion % allowed (best in NFL).
• But PFF grades every completion as a negative, even if short.
• High volume + small mistakes = lower composite score.

Bottom line: Moss is playing well (1 FF, 10 PBUs, low YAC), but PFF dings him hard for scheme-driven targets and flags. His grade should rise if penalties drop post-bye.

Nice TD run for Tampa Bay. Saw the name Miller helping with a block. Well, I thought, at least Scotty Miller is getting some action even if it just blocking. Then I found out he's with Pittsburg now. Don't know who that other Miller was. Hard to keep up with who's who and who's where sometimes.

Another PI on Moss. Not egregious, ball was underthrown. This is clearly the script. When all else fails, throw a bomb at Moss, and trust the refs.

I wish I was wrong, but I don’t think Moss has any picks.

Minimal contact on the play. It's BS. Another reason to hate the Chiefs and Mahomes too.

Hock, that is Ryan Miller out Furman University. I reported on him coming out of Furman. He played TE in college, but scouts had him pegged as a possible WR which he now is. Very good player with great hands. I hope he sticks around for a long time.

Moss had a debatable PI call earlier but has to do a better job with his hands. He tends to grab and hold longer than necessary even as he has good coverage.

That’s elite company, for sure.
McCaffrey TD number 92. Alone now in 36th place! Right, ahead of some elite company. If he can get to 10,000 yards rushing and 6 or 7,000
yards receiving and 100 TD's, he should be a lock for the HOF.

And another ******** call on Moss. This is racial targeting
it 100% is racial targeting. He doesn’t give a big place and he doesn’t give up touchdowns, he is by far the most targeted in the league so naturally there will be yards given up.

But the PI calls which are often entirely biased and nonexistent in reality hurt him.

If a CB has good coverage, there is always some contact. They throw the PI on Moss EVERY time. I guarantee you could put together a video montage proving no calls on the exact same contact.
