Honestly, and I know the sample size is small, but he looks every bit as good as Purdy. This is the best kind of backup a team could want.

This will be a controversial statement, but he looks better than Purdy. His throws have more zip on them and his ball placement is better. Purdy looked rough in the Jags game. Not hating on him at all btw.

Yes! A lot of people don't know this, but Mac Jones was their guy until Shanahan and Lynch caved to the pressure to draft Lance.

I've said it before but it bears repeating, Mac Jones' arm talent is criminally underrated. He's making elite throws into airtight windows. Despite having taken a colossal beating tonight, he's still standing tall and throwing laser beams. Incelichick needs to be permanently viewed with a jaundiced eye for his mismanagement of Jones, among many other misdeeds.
