2025 Track Results

The mens 400 has been a mixed bag of results. Out of 6 heats, only 3 white guys made it through to the semis. Dobson qualified although he finished 3rd in his heat and had the slowest qualifying time of 44.85. Edoarto Scotti of Italy qualified with a 44.45 which is a new national record. Attila Molnar of Hungary qualified with 44.55 which is also a new national record. Unfortunately Doom ran a 45.10 coming in 6th place in his heat and didn't make it through.

The mens 110 hurdles only had 1 or possibly 2 white guys. Enrique Llopis from Spain won his heat in 13.22 to advance, but he doesn't look white to me. Maybe someone else can verify. The other white guy is Enzo Diessl from Austria but he finished last in his heat, failing to qualify. There should have been a handful of white guys in the event, not sure what happened.

The mens 400 hurldles Matic Ian Gucek came in 4th in his heat with a 48.92 but qualified through. Warhold surprisingly didn't win his heat, but did finish 3rd to qualify with a 48.56. Behind him in 4th from Turkey was Berke Akcam with a 48.68 which was also good enough to qualify. Alastair Chalmers from the UK also qualified finishing 3rd in his heat with a 48.86. Hopefully Warholm is in top shape as the semis and final should be pretty good.

Nobody has mentioned it but White runners have more long and middle distance medals. A New Zealand runner won the steeple chase and a French runner who is a native Frenchman won the 10k and a Swede snagged the bronze. Kenyans are looking mortal in the middle and long distance events, which is further evidence they are off the gas or at least on low performance petrol...

Llopis is a full blooded Spaniard as far as I can tell. I think he just has a dusky tan which makes look like an Arab but maybe I am wrong...

On the men’s side, no white or Asian sprinters made it out of the heats in the 100. Larsson and Hansen both ran 10.22. Browning ran 10.16 and Azzopardi ran a pedestrian 10.41. Unfortunately another year of disappointment in the 100m. I suppose it’s worth noting that Puripol Boonson ran a new PB of 10.15 in his heat but it wasn’t enough to advance.

It’s not an issue of white sprinters being too slow as anything below 10.10 would have advanced them. This is an issue of them showing up and running a couple of tenths slower than they are capable of.
no, 10.15 isn't his PB, it's his season best. Puripol Bonsoon has been having a lean year. In 2022, 2023 and 2024 he's been in the 10.00s

Bol goes through to semis with a literal jog, Savannah Sutherland of Canada did not run well and missed the opportunity to advance. Its almost like she did not even get going....totally misjudged her needed speed to advance.
she followed up on that last slow performance from a few weeks ago. I hoped that had been a one-off.. She looked so perplexed and down afterwards that I really felt for her

I favoured him (Geordie Beamish) to win the final after his heat where he fell and still overtook everyone in the last 50m. Beamish has been in American college for years and has learned how to race

Hamish Kerr from New Zealand took the gold in the high jump! A South Korean athlete took the silver and Jan Stefela from Czechia took the bronze.

Here is Kerr's gold medal jump of 2.36. Such a smooth jump and it puts him at 48th all time.

So happy for New Zealand. Track proves that the jumping myth is false. Here we are at the 2025 World Championships of Track & Field. All three medallists were of non african ancestry. This happens the majority of the time. Whites dominate this event!

Heniette Jaeger makes the 400m final by .01 for the last qualifying spot. When ere officials gonna bust Naser for PEDS(again) and high Testosterone levels Paulino? I'm even starting to suspect Mcgloughlin of PED use.

I've brought this up to a certain group of people on X and their go to argument is that they don't participate! It just goes to show nothing will ever change people's mind especially in this day and age

That's there same excuse they use for Mac McClung winning the 3peat in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest! What a joke!

I haven’t checked yet but I think the long jump may go the same way.

Checkout Ashanti Moore she looks like the In Living Color character that was an ugly woman but really Jaime Foxx in drag. How she passes a PED or a possible XX test is beyond me...

In the 400 unless one of the big 3 blows up trying for the win it's going to be as hard as hell for anybody else getting on the podium.

SML is coached by Bobby the Chemist who for decades has only been in the shadows and never does public interviews anymore. Before various PED scandals he was always part of the story when his suspected wife was dominating the Heptathlon and winning world level medals in the long jump.

so, the only sprinter of either gender who has impressed me is AMY HUNT. Her recent 100m bests of 11.02 and 11.03 had +1.5 and +2.0 asssitance. This championship she achieved 11.05 with zero wind - in effect her best ever effort. She is looking to run 10s with this form and a nice legal tailwind.
I just watched her closely tail Shericka Jackson in the 200m semi to personal record 22.08 and -0.1mps. Her 2nd x 100m split in this race was the fastest of the total 200m event with a 10.80. She is 3rd fastest qualifier for the final

Apart from her , Henrick Larsson twice broke his 200m PB with a 20.32 to finish as 17th man overall in the entire 200m field. I like a sprinter who can PB in these conditions - that may be Larsson's best gift. The Australians have mainly been dreadful - and even with the biggest team ever. At least our women's 100m Record was broken -
but our other women competitors were awful until the distances increase. Jessica Hull is showing her great qualities again, splitting the possible Kenyan podium clean sweep in the 5000m.
I like the 23 yo Irishman Cian McPhillips in the 800 - he first broke into the 1.44s in July and now he stands at 1.43.18 NR to lead the field going into the final. Max Burgin looks great too. Most of the field for the final ran 1.43s except for the 2 placegetters in the 1st heat with 1.45s. It doesn't sit well with me that two other 1.43 heat runners were bundled out because of those 2 slow times but that's how it goes.

This Sydney McLaughlin is kind of a dream come true for the elite who want everyone to mix racially.
She nearly broke the world record. She tied up badly down the straight and still broke 48 seconds but I can't say she is doing anything different than the other medalists.

Times are truly crazy right now in the 400m dash on the men's and women's side as times that would have made finals for years now are also ran times.

We shall see what happens tomorrow with the 200m dash as 19.51 isn't really in 19.19 range but Lyles probably will break his American record and go sub 19.3 in the final if things break right for him.

I'm interested in see if Warholm can beat the championship record of dos Santos, I'm not too sure that he has it in him to break his world record the situation would have to be perfect with Benjamin pushing him hard to the line and the weather not being like it was today in Tokyo.

Similarly Bol would need perfect conditions and a race that was perfect to break the SML world record.

And maybe even more so in the 800 meters!

Warholm hasn't looked himself so far at these Championships. I really hope I am wrong because I love Warholm. But I'm worried that he might finish out of the medals.

I don't know what to expect time wise from Bol, but I expect her to take the Gold.

I don't have anything against racial mixing too much ....... but I'm sure not elite:D. I once noted in my younger days that so many world champion decathletes were a product of interracial unions ..... Daley Thompson, Bryan Clay, Ashton Eaton, Dan O'Brien and others. I pondered that mixing seemed to spread the various athletics genes (therefore opportunities to excel at different events) around a bit.
But I know I'm in the absolute minority here.

I expect her to take gold also - but I'm thinking low to mid 51s in all honesty. Of course, I'd love another sub 51 but it's the Worlds and the stadium isn't at nearly 1000m elevation as in her Swiss run where she had little opposition in comparison to this meet
