2025 White Purge

Hunter Renfrow released by the Panthers............
So disappointing don't understand how he has gone from border line starter to a nobody cut from the 53 man at another team. So unfair abd a classic example of the unfairness and bias in the NFL

Ewers makes the Dolphins 53.
Looks like Braden McGregor makes the Jets 53 again.

Looks like Schrader will need something akin to the Hillis Curse to ever get a chance to show off his talent in a league filled with run of the mill, easily replaced black RBs.
Yeah ridiculous but unfortunately to us expected....am pleasantly surprised Skatebo had ended up being drafted high and looking to have an immediate impact thought he could go the same.

Broncos cut Sam Ehlinger. In a league where Spencer Rattler is a starting QB Ehlinger who has been nothing but productive in preseason over his career gets cut.

Shaun Dolac makes the Rams, who also kept Nate Landman and Troy Reeder at LB.

Free agent Dolac made it over 5th round rookie Chris Paul, who was getting tons of positive coverage. This of course left Rams DWFs "heartbroken" when the already "beloved" rookie Paul was cut:

Jaguars
DE Ethan Downs
QB Seth Henigan
WR Trenton Irwin

49ers
LB Stone Blanton

WR Chase Cota
WR Cade McDonald

Buccaneers

DT Nash Hutmacher
WR Garrett Greene
DL Adam Gotsis

Cowboys

S Maxen Hook
WR Taylor morin

Packers
QB Tayler Elgersma
LB Kristian Welch
QB Sean Clifford

Rams
DL Bill Norton

Ravens

Texans
DE Casey Toohill
QB Kedon Slovis

"Fans had been searching for some relief for the inside linebacker position. The team had lost Ernest Jones before the start of the 2024 season, and it never seemed to recover. Yes, Nate Landman signed on. But as soon as the team drafted Paul Jr., the optics changed considerably."

The only way in which the optics changes was that DWFs got a blackie at LB. Glad Dolac made it over the SEC supa afflete.

I’d say the Steelers 53 man roster was an overall positive today. 4/4 White QBs. 2/5 White WRs. 6/9 White LBers. I did not expect Bruener or Skowronek to make it.

PS - Scotty Miller is currently a starter in the Steelers base 3-receiver offense!

A quick, unofficial head count comes up with 19 Whites, has to be more than any previous Tomlin-coached team by at least 3, and likely at least 3 more than any Bill Cowher-coached team had, which means the most Whites to start a season for the Steelers in at least 34 years and probably more.

I did a quick unofficial head count for the Rams and came up with 18, but unfortunately no Whites at receiver or running back and not many o-linemen either. Over half are bunched at QB, TE and ILB.

Raiders cut QB Cam Miller, WR Tommy Mellot, Wr Alex Bachman and Lb Matt jones.

Wigger Pete never forgets his roots.

Yep, the lesson from Steele is that a white RB is afforded ZERO mistakes.
A damn shame as his first start went very well - over 70 yards rushing. And then he quite literally fumbled away the opportunity.

The difference is a black is afforded multiple chances; a white running back (or skill player) is rarely given a single change - and never a second one.

Some team would be lucky to pick him up. Otherwise, he could go to Canada and dominate like AJO has been doing.

Jets cut LB Jackson Sirmon and QB Brady Cook

Chargers cut QB Taylor Heinicke and WR Luke Grimm.

Harbaugh's mulatto QB fetish continues as he keeps mega bust Trey Lance on the roster.

Been a rough read going over the cuts. But as always there will be movement on the bubble. Guys who made it will be cut when someone thought of as better become available.

We'll see what happens in the next few days.
