2025 NFL Preseason

Jags Starting Safety Andrew Wingard with the SACK!! Injured last Pre Season....came back 1/2 of the season ...8 games ; really played well down the Stretch!
Undrafted out of Wyoming ; just as FS Reed Blankenship was Undrafted

The NFL needs more Starting White Safeties ...looking down the College Pipeline (Thieneman ; Hubbard ; Perich ; Taffee; Connors ) it does look more promising that we will not go the way of the Dinosaur.

Watching this game. Wingard looked fast and explosive getting to Shough. The announcers complimented how well he played last year. Just said he needs to stay healthy, which we all agree with!
 
Wingard should have been a starter the majority of his career. A few injuries and racial apprenticeships have held him back.

So true. Some fans say our guys are more injury prone. I disagree. Our guys take way too many cheap shots as it's all about putting
the hurt on a cracka as they say in the inner cities.

Don’t doubt our guys take cheap shots. A lot of it is just lack of numbers.. only have so many skill position goys in the League.

It can be said of the early lifers that their rhetoric is just projection of their thoughts. Of course the Right will just go into howl mode instead of telling them that and their opinions are fecal matter.
 
Here is an interesting article on Louis Rees Zammit and his frustration on opportunities and exit from the NFL. What is more intriguing to me is in the article NBC Sports states he was a "kicker". Pretty much sums up the state of sports journalism right there!

That was supposedly written by Mike Florio. LOL. Isn’t he the owner? If he can’t be bothered to do 30 seconds of research on a White player, than it’s easy to see why the Caste narrative thrives.

Florio is just the epitome of cuck. His "takes" are just really awful and the site is. I vaguely remember when I would check out PFT back in the mid 2000s he would cover all the athlete crimes. Just looked it up and it was called the "Turd Watch" and the All-Turd Teams. Once his site went corporate all of that stopped. Not to say he was ever a pro-White player advocate but he did at least track player crimes.

Scotty Miller 3 catches for 82 yards in the first half! He's been great all training camp. Freethinker mentioned that he might be in the running to be the Steelers' #2 receiver, which I thought was a big stretch, esp. given the team he's on and who the head coach is, but he's played well enough to get consideration for regular season playing time, possibly as their third receiver, and who knows what could happen with the inevitable injuries and weakness of the team's black receivers after D. K. Metcalf.

Did you catch the perp shot on Panthers DB Isaac Gifford? Miller blew by the CB and Gifford yet the camera kept showing only Gifford.
 
I’m hoping Skattebo makes a wow play or two, trucks defenders, something to continue the positive buzz he has from the media. Believe or not, I’d say they influence coaching decisions.

The narrative is breaking fellas.

I was in another room and heard the excited call of Miller's big catch by the Pittsburgh announcers and saw the end of it and not the perp shot, but the only surprise would be if it was of the CB and not the White player, any White player.

Miller has now been targeted 9 times in the preseason and has 9 catches. That's another greatly downplayed strength of White WRs and TEs -- they catch more of their targets on average than black ones.

You mentioned him earlier in this thread by Skyler Thompson has had a great preseason. I doubt he sticks in Pittsburgh but he should be able to land a job with another team.
 
If they put Will Howard on 4 week IR to start the season then they'll probably keep Thompson for at least that long. If Howard doesn't go on IR it's hard to see them keeping four QBs, and I certainly hope they don't cut Howard and keep Thompson over him. If they put Howard on the practice squad another team will likely claim him.
 
Hyatt catches a TD from Winston after dropping two passes from Dart. He pushed off the DB on all three plays.
