Since 2005, Cal has started 7, 7, 11, 6, 8, 9, 6, 5, 8, 8, 7, 10, 11, 9, 12, 12, 6, 9, and 6 white players. The Golden Bears are projected to have 9 White starters for 2025, including one part Polynesian.

Cal brought in Ohio State transfer Devin Brown, who I think will ultimately win the starting job against a freshman poly. Of course, you already know that there are people who are upset that Cal’s “most talented QB recruit ever” may leave if Brown gets the starting gig. There will be two white receivers. The first of these is Trond Grizzell, a redshirt senior who had 400 yards last year. The other is sophomore receiver Mark Hamper. Hamper had 966 receiving yards last year at Idaho and transferred to Wisconsin before transferring again to Cal – anyone know why he left Wisconsin? There are a few white defensive players, including free safety Tristian Dunn.

Do not expect this to be a trend going forward as there depth is absolutely terrible. There is only one white on the two man depth chart.

Offense
WR Mark Hamper
WR Trond Grizzell
OT Nick Morrow
OT Braden Miller
QB Devin Brown* in battle for position
Defense
DT Aidan Keanaaina* part poly
OLB TJ Bush
ILB Harrison Taggart
FS Tristan Dunn

Depth

9 starters on offense. 0 starters on defense. I wonder if there’s some kind of biased racial position slotting in play?
NO .Sir >>..Look closer ...he did not separate Offense ((6)) & Defense ((3))

There are 3 White Starters on the Cal Defense
OLB Bush
ILB Taggert
Free Safety Tristan Dunn.....be sure to check em out on the 2025 DB Preview

I must have looked at an example with no starters on defense when I started doing these. I can start separating offense and defense
