2025 Track Results

Here are Day 3 Highlights from the Euro U23 Championships. A lot of good races.
Jaeger's 400m and 200m are the first 2 events shown in the highlights.
You can see that she had the 200m race won, but leaned forward too soon and collapsed. What a shame.
But otherwise a great day for her, and a great day all around.

Talk about walking down the whole field of sprinters? Wow was that some jets over the last 100 meters. Charlie Dobson is always in
superb condition. He never looks overly winded or gassed. Boling does as he is not built for the 400 meters. Boling looks gassed
even after 200 meters many times. I'm so happy for Charlie Dobson to win a 2nd diamond league at home in England breaking his p.b.

Yeah with that kind of speed endurance he’s ready to run in the 43’s. Be fun to watch this guy over the rest of the summer.

I'm going to try to find a live stream for the meet in Sweden tommorow. The mens 100 meters features Henrik Larsson and SImon Larsen
among others. Hoping they can both go sub 10.10 if the conditions are right!

Henrik Larsson failed to break his p.b. today but did look very good. He ran a 10.12 with 0 wind in the semifinals to win his heat. Then in
the finals he finished 2nd running another time of 10.12 -0.1 wind. So he ran 10.12 twice in a little over an hour with no wind. That shows
that he is in really good shape. It's a shame he couldn't break his personal best of 10.08 from last year.

Matthew Boling announced today he has ended his season citing a calf injury this past month. Says he will be back next year. He's doing pool and bike workouts as shown on his Instagram page. Disappointing. At this point there's no reason to continue in the 400m unless he just wants to make an Olympic Relay team in 3 years. There is no major championship next year, so it's a good time to transition and get ready for the Worlds in 2027 in the 100m and 200m.

His career is in the dumps. Make bad decisions and live with the consequences of those decisions. He is a good kid but misguided.

I don't have much hope for him unless he changes coach's and goes back to a PURE 100 & 200 Meters Sprints Coach. A guy like Carl
Lewis, Dan Phaff and many others. I wish him luck but his career has been a huge letdown. Way worse than Lemaitre.

Really has been a let down with Boling, but that's ok that's what happens in sprinting. We all felt he had a lot more to give in the 100, but we will never know. We don't know him personally and we don't know what kinds of challenges he is facing. He seems like a very good kid and hopefully he will turn it around next year. I've learned not to put too much stock into any one sprinter. It's a vicious game at the top and all sorts of things can derail a runner. Let's hope he regroups, takes a break and comes back refreshed and ready to compete in the short sprints.

That shows how strong he is to run back to back fast times like that. I'm sure he will break his pb this year. He will probably start timing his peak for the worlds soon. Be cool to see him put Sweden in the sub 10 club. I was just glancing at Sweden's all time list and it's nice to see a country with records held by a blond haired white guy as it should be in Sweden. Erik Erlandsson from Sweden ran the 2nd fastest time ever by a Swede this year in the 200 at 20.43. He's been running fairly consistently all year, mostly in the mid 20's. One to keep on the radar as worlds approach.

I was looking at the European Mens Under 23 Top List based on times run in the 100 meters. The good news is that we have
4 of the top 5 sprinters as of today. This potentially could bode very well for the future.

with Jaegers 400m speed she might want to look at the 400mh as well. She would probably do very very well as her 400m PB is only .25 or so off Bol's 400m outdoor PB.

Rohan Browning 10.07 (-0.3w) to win in Luxembourg today.

Yes sir!!!!!!!!!!! This proves again and again that you can never count this guy out. He is like a Lion that just keeps on fighting. Again so many times his best races have no wind or are into a negative wind. I wish a few more of our guys could get positive winds on their best days. I still think it's more psychological than physical much of the time when your that close to 10.00 seconds flat. Pumped for Rohan Browing. This should give him back alot of confidence!

In Greece today we saw a few young sprinters get into the 10.20's. Great to see as we don't have nearly enough young sprinters to follow
at the moment.

22 year old Jernej Gumilar of Slovenia ran a new p.b. of 10.23 +1.4 to win the race. He brings back memories of a young Matic Osovnikar.

20 year old Bulgarian Sprinter Hristo Ilieve ran another p.b. of 10.29 +1.4 to finish in 3rd place!

Polish Sprinter Dominik Kopec ran 10.19 -0.7 wind to win his race in Luxenbourgh today.

21 year old Austrian Enzo Diessl improved his 110m Hurdles PB to 13.17 (1.5w) today in Austria.

Fresh from winning gold at the Bergen 2025 European Athletics U23 Championships, Austria’s Enzo Diessl celebrated on home soil by setting a personal best at the Raiffeisen Austrian Open Eisenstadt on Wednesday (23), which was live streamed on the European Athletics YouTube channel.
The 21-year-old won the 110m hurdles at the World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meeting in 13.17 (+1.5m/s), clipping 0.03 from his previous best set a month ago and 0.23 better than his best time last year.
It is the eighth fastest European U23 time ever. Job Geerds of Netherlands was second in 13.35 and Belgium’s Elie Bacari third in 13.37.

In Berlin, Germany on Sunday I believe we could see some serious fireworks on the track in the Mens 100 Meters!

Both Yannick Wolf and Oliwer Wdowik are in the mix with a very fast field of sprinters. Let's hope that one or both of these
guys can continue to make a huge break through on the World Scene. A few new personal bests would be great. A couple
of new sub 10 sprinters wind legal would be awesome. Let's wish them both the best of luck!

some nice results overal. And Browning just secured his world champs spot in beating 2 decent Jamaican sprinters

Aleksey Danilov of Russia, who will be 19 years old at the end of August, ran 44.56 in Belarus.
This puts him #3 on the European 400m list, and #1 on the U23 and U20 European lists.
