I think Skattebo is more talented to be honest. He is a tougher runner (Shrader is no slouch!) and his demeanor is better.

Skattebo has a real chance to endear himself to scouts during the CFP. I’m not being overly optimistic, but I think he becomes a 3-4 round choice.
 
I trust your judgment on this, Leonardfan. You know the reality and if you think he can go mid rounds, I'm very positive about his NFL chances.

Well let's see what 40 yd dash time Skattebo runs at the combine. Shrader's 40 time killed him, even though he looked plenty fast in games.

Which brings the question should he not run the 40 if he can’t get at least a 4.6? I’ve noticed many black players no longer do 3 cone or shuttle as they don’t test nearly as well as whites in it. It would certainly hurt his stock, but maybe running over a 4.7 would hurt it much more

If I'm not mistaken there are a couple of really good speed camps right there in Phoenix. He should work at it hard. The 40 is such a bogus metric for determining how good an RB is. There is so much technique involved that is not applicable to football. My son worked hard on his 40 times for his camps and other testing. In less than a month we were able to drop 3/10's of a second off of his time with start technique, acceleration and speed, more like what he would do on track than on the gridiron.
 
Unless Skattebo can train to the point that he can run under 4.60 I agree he might be better off not running the 40, at least at the Combine as blacks pick and choose the events they participate in.

He's probably going to be "Schraderized" the way Cody was as there are similarities to their unexpected rises and "lack of straight line speed" as excuses to be shunned by the NFL so hopefully Cam's aware of that and does what's solely in his best interest.
 
UC Davis RB Lan Larison should be at a big name D1 school not in the FCS, he's got great hands out of the backfield, hits holes fast, got elite speed and is shifty as anyone with great open field speed....

Agreed, he is an elite physical talent. He is a three-down back and exciting to watch. Some team is going to get a star (if he is allowed to play).
 
The Army Navy Game is just a few minutes away. Excited as always to watch these two great military teams go at it. The Hatred is Real but
when the fighting is all said and done they are ONE again. RESPECT for both teams but I will root for the Army Knights!
