And so the big Thursday night game begins with three straight drops by two different Chargers receivers, with both of them injured. "The world's greatest athletes" in action.

The Chargers had 1st and goal from the 5, and threw 4 straight incompletions. It looked like Herbert could have run it in on any of the plays.

KC Fullback Michael Burton nice run on the 20 yard catch! And a strong 6 yard TD Run! Only 2nd TD of his career

TE Donald Parham was KO'd after near catch; scary stuff ; out on stretcher

Michael Burton obviously knows how to run, even beefed up to blocking fullback size.

Mike Alstott was the last White one to run a fair amount. Peyton Hillis started off as a fullback with Denver, but a slew of injuries "forced" the Broncos to turn to him and he was outstanding right from the get-go for a few seasons, first as a FB and then as a tailback with Cleveland.

They weren't easy catches, but Herbert threw three straight accurate balls to Mike Williams from the 5, and none were completed.

Parham’s injury was bizarre. No contact, he dropped the ball and then seemed to be frozen.

Chargers have a great drive going here. Nearing Kansas City RedZone

Sorensen with back to back plays to hold the Chargers out of the end zone. I don’t get not taking the points there.

My god Terry Bradshaw is annoying! I’m watching the game with my grandpa so I’m having to watch the commercials, pregame and now halftime for the first time in a long time. It’s unbearable!
