Today in Lieven, France Jakob Ingrebrigsten set the New World Record in the Indoors Mens 1500 Meters! What an amazing performance! :)
 
Man, Norway is something when it comes to stud athletes for such a small country.
 
I remember the days of Johnny Walker and the "Chairman of the Boards" and those two athletes seemed to break the world indoor mile record at will. Judging the way Ingebrigtsen looked he could do the same as it looked like he had a lot in the tank.

PS this record was held by a fairly obscure Ethiopian before this run. Hicham's outdoor world record is 3:26 and that hasn't been approached in years.
 
Jakob Ingebrigtsen already has the indoor 1500 meters world record. Now is is training like a mad man to try and break the outdoor 1500 meters world record. This kid
is young and hungry like a lion. He has the talent, skill and desire to be possibly the greatest 1500 meter in the history of the world. I'm rooting for you Jakob! :)

Jakub Ingrebrigtsen just won the 5000 Meters to defend his title from a few years ago. He now has 2 golds and 2 silvers at the
last two world championships of track and field. What a living legend on and off the track! :number_one:

He is a talent for the ages for sure! The only thing that worries me about him is that he got married far too young! Hopefully she inst a gold-digger/fame/me first attention hound like most.

Watched a documentary series which showed his home life.His wife seems ok supportive not demanding.
