2018 College Football Week 1

Thorson looks good in his 1st game back since blowing out his knee 9months ago.

Announcers referred to UCF Pat Jasinski a "Savage" at Linebacker....QB McKenzie Milton is a modern day Doug Flutie/or Baker Mayfield! Tremendous On the run sling shot should have been TD! 4 TD's in late 3rd qtr + 50 rushing yards.

WR Alex Bachman nice TD catch...Cade Carney 7 carries for 30 yards in 2nd qtr

Good to see Thorson excel so soon!

A&M TE Jace Sternberger is a future star in the making. Reminds me of Jeremy Shockey

U.Conn's WR Kyle Buss looks like a breakout player for 18'

Thorson started off good but wasn't in there last series. Instead Junior TJ Green came in to lead a scoring drive. Son of Trent Green and a former Walk-on, of course.

Milton sure is fun to watch, is he a Senior?

Good to see Carney getting carries early on.

I think Milton is a Junior.

Its good to see Thorson back out their - he doesn't look to hampered by the knee but they are playing it safe.

Purdue looks like they have a good one in their freshman WR Moore. 300+all purpose yards, 1st game and already with a school record. I can give credit where credit is due.

Northwestern's WRs have been solid hauling in receptions all night. 31-27 Northwestern leads in the 4th quarter.

Ron LaForce with 13 tackles tonight. He already has 27 on the season. Minnesota LB Blake Cashman with 8 tackles 4 tfl and a sack. UAB WR Collin Lisa 10 rec 93 yards 1 TD.

Good start to the season for WR Britain Covey (Utah) - 6 catches for 53 yards and 2 rushes for 64 yards. Also returned punts but didn’t make any plays in that regard.

Good start for Bailey Gaither too, he had a 6-137-2 stat line and also 50 kick return yards

I mentioned Cade Carney yesterday on a different forum.....His stats were very similar to the starters stats, but if you watched the game CC outperformed him in so many ways...The starter had 2 carries for 30 yards in garbage time....(draw plays with 20 seconds on the clock, etc).....Carney should regain his starting status. The freshman qb for Wake Forest showed a lot of guts for a kid.....Watch Wake Forest guys, some good players there...

QB Eric Dungey is on Fire! On the way to having video game numbers...193 yards rushing early 4th qtr ; nice TD run & 2 TD passes ; 185 passing..& was out of the game a few series knicked.

San Diego St. DB Parker Baldwin a tackling machine in 1st qtr...nice stick on Bryce Love!

Maybe I'll get to a few games this year. My daughter is a student there. Watched Carney and TE Cam Serigne last season. BTW, Serigne was just released by the Panthers.

Beau Bisharat made a giant mistake dissing Stanford for Colorado.....
He is buried on the depth chart.....He lined up at fullback and scored a TD tonight....
He couldn’t beat out mediocre compition. I was really looking forward to a couple years of him kicking ass......

Wisconsin is up 24-3. Western Kentucky has held tough.

WKUs Eckels has some wheels and is a capable passer.

Dunn and Ferguson both with a couple of receptions.

Badger defense is solid as usual.

Badger FS Scott Nelson dropped an early int but has been an instictual and physical in run support.

For WKU LB Holt is a good one as is their 300lb DT Sayner.

I watch a bit of the 1st half of the “Whiteconsin” game at the gym. Looks like the Badgers have it “in the bag”. :)

McLane Mannix is a wideout mentioned here before....
He’s a sophomore for Nevada....He has 80 yards and 2 tds in the first half.....Small dude, slot type of guy......

Lot's of upside at the WR position dropping very catchable passes from Eckels.

Caste-media Heisman-hyped candidate, Bryce Love, 14 car for 9 yds, 0 td after three quarters of play.

Garrett Groshek with a nice receiving TD....He’s not getting many carries tonight, but he is in there on a lot of snaps...should have a decent year.

Kaleb Fossum is also having a huge game! 6 rec 139 yds

Utah St S Gaje Ferguson had a Pick 6 against MSU. Spartan LB Joe Bachie had an INT to seal the win for MSU!

Mannix Reportedly ran 4.35 in college...ran 10.8 in HS 100 meters...he's sneaky fasto_O Now 4 receptions for 132 yards & 3 TD's

Eric Dungey ended up with 200 yards rushing

DB Parker Baldwin was smashing his opponents tonight! Very disruptive! Bryce Love held to 29 yards rushing on 18 carries

Thanks Leonardfan... Bachie (nice tip INT to himself!) should have a successful NFL career! Missed Ferguson INT
