Military Coup in Turkey

Damn, a lot of things are moving quickly. This can only be good news for Trump due to the instability brought on by the Dems.

The Turkish people is partly despicable (invaders, muslims, destroyers of one of the most brilliant civilization ever, enemy of Christianity). A part of them has however some intelligence. Let's hope the coup succeed.
 
They aren't shooting Erdogan's supporters on the streets. I've no idea what is going on but it makes them look weak. Unfortunately, I don't think this coup will succeed.
 
Coup fails. Lack of planning and will on the soldiers part. Now they will await a firing squad, thankfully, rather than a beheading or being burned alive. God, they will be humane.
 
Good reason to believe it was staged by Erdogan himself who will now completely consolidate his powers while getting rid of any last bit of opposition that was left.

If it was for real, what the hell where the coup leaders thinking? If you're going to do this, you better make sure you have the entire armed forces under control and should've taken out Erdogan right away. Again, assuming this was for real, it was a completely half-baked and hamfisted effort doomed to fail. Those soldiers were instantly overcome by the crowds and they were never going to fire on their own people.
 
I'm a bit bewildered from reading the links on Drudge (UKDailyMail) that show pictures of thousands of people celebrating the coup failing. Do these these people actually want an Islamist type governing thrust onto themselves?? From what I've read the coup was to slow that down and overthrow it and go toward a democracy of sorts and ward off the Islamic tendencies it was headed towards? Are these people nuts or what is their allegiance to Erdogan for, if indeed he was taking them the direction it seemed to be going?

I guess anyone could say the same thing about us with back-to-back elections of a Communist wanna-be and next up our majority is likely to elect a lying career politician. Human nature there and here seems to be self-abuse...

Sounds like the army was trying to keep Turkey secular but erodogan and the idiotic Muslim sheep look like they prefer to have a government based upon the worst religion in the world. What a bunch of idiots. Turkey with its huge Muslim population is a member of nato as well. No wonder they aren't stemming the Muslim hordes from invading Europe.
 
Looks like Turkey President is holding 1500 US Troops in an air base as ransom. He wants Obama to turn over a Cleric who started the coup holed up in Pennsylvania. LOL. Lets see what Obama does.

W0w that is crazy. Turkey looks to be part of the problem more than anything. Assisting in the Syrian rebellion, causing more destabilization of the region and opening the floodgates to Europe. What an "ally".
 
If Obama has balls. He tells his troops to bust out of the airport and await a rescue mission. Pretty confident they are armed to the tilt. That in of itself would set the tone. But my guess is he will give a up 75 year old innocent man with his head on a platter to the current Turkey President so the troops can come home without harm or laying waste to a bunch a jack offs who let themselves be pulled out of tanks. Pretty incredible how weak or "keystone cop" like so many armed forces are around the world.

Obama has little relevance at this time. His visible acts, speeches, and comments seem directed at what he wants to do after his gifted office term is finally over. He cannot move any U.S. agency in any major way at this time. He is, and was, always simply ACTING president; he's never been president of anything but himself and the man he lives with that dresses as a woman.
