She is attractive. She looks like she may have indigenous ancestry. Then again many who consider themselves white Americans have a little indigenous ancestry in them. Not that it is the end of the world. I'd much rather have that than a negro somewhere in there.

Welker's wife is a former Miss Hooters. She grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She sure looks White to me. I don't know how some of you guys can look at one tiny picture and conclusively decide so many people aren't White.

She is probably a Castizo(a quarter or less Amerindian blood). But come on practical purposes she is White unless she is member of a Native American band. By this same logic Brett Farve is Native American....

This is ridiculous. I totally agree with Don on this one. Not White? Maybe I'm losing my mind. Go to Europe and you will see plenty lof women that look like her. Hell, I've seen plenty of Polish girls that look exactly like her. Maybe those Polish girls aren't white either according to the logic of some here.

And you've took it upon yourself to take a thread in another direction. I live in a city of 11,000 people in NJ and a good three quarters of them are Polish. We have a huge Polish population in neighboring towns as well. Don't fill me in with any of your bull. You're a liar and a fraud!

To clarify…I didn’t say she wasn’t white in my original post, I said she had an “Asian look,” which she most certainly does in some photos I’ve seen of her over the years.
From what I remember, she and Wes became a couple a few months before he tore his ACL at the end of 2009. I remember she was seated next to Wes in the owner’s booth when the Ravens crushed the Patriots in the playoff game that Welker missed due to his knee injury. Since I’m always searching for Welker-related articles, I’ve inadvertently learned a little about her (all positive stuff), but unfortunately nothing about her family or heritage.
Normally, when unmixed whites have a non-colored iris (blue, green, or hazel), the brown pigment appears more like a light mixture of red and orange, whereas Welker’s wife has a nearly jet-black iris (nearly indistinguishable from the pupil). This trait is common among Asians and Amerindians…
It isn’t merely her very dark eye color; it’s her mouth, square cheek bones, and nose structure that reminds me of one of the light-skinned Asian races (Chinese, Japanese, Mongolian, etc). Compare these two women...
Perhaps she would look “more white” in most of her photos if she wasn’t so tan. Like most swimsuit models, I imagine that her tan is artificial. Her last name, Burns, is a popular surname (which doesn’t mean much, I suppose) I’ve seen used in England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. She is very pretty, seems like a great woman who supports her husband, and most people would consider her to be white…but she just doesn’t appear to fit into any of the white races (Alpine, Nordic, or Mediterranean) or any pure mixture thereof. In my opinion, she is slightly mixed, but still white. Of course, I could be wrong.
