Not really considered a "Star".....Yet! ButKEEP anEYE out on Devon Wylie a.k.a. "The Flash"WR/Return Specialist for Fresno State! At 5'-9" 170 he is an explosive receiver and the fastest player on the team ... clocked times of 4.25 and 4.27 in the 40-yard dash, the two fastest times in Bulldog history!!

He has played in only about 1/2 (5 ) of the games this year as a Junior...a naggin hamstring is the culprit; despite that he has 15 receptions/ 242 yards/ 4 TD's/ 16.1avg(BIG-TIME TD grab vs Boise State)....and 3 carries for 16 yards; in 08' as a Soph.(mostly returner)he missed 4 games...he had 22-269-2 TD's/ 4 carries 51 yards 12.8avg. As a freshman he had one rec. for 44 yards...

Looking at him HAVINGa BIG SENIOR YEAR next season; and tearing it up at the NFL Draft Combine in 2011...hopefully he can stay healthy!!!

Coming out of Granite Bay HS in northern California he drew comparisions to Reggie Bush; thought he had legit skills at CB too!(but we know that's not acceptable); also drew favorable comparisons toWR-Adam Jennings(NFL ex Falcons/current-Lions)who attended same HS

I never heard of this guy before! But he sounds like a player that could really turn some heads in the right direction if he gets to play more.

Since he plays for Fresno State, the East Coast elites will likely never see any of his games, but his name, Devon Wylie, sounds black, so after they look at his numbers, and thinking that he's black, he'll get great press!

Yeah Devon Wylie does kinda sound black...just hoping he can get/stay healthy...when you are that fast sometimes the hamstrings don't want to cooperate. You can't teach that kind of speed( popular saying for the affletes) Hoping he can follow in the footsteps of one of my all-time favorites...Tim Dwight!

Herbstreit describes him as a "vertical threat with great speed"
