25. Calum Davenport Tottenham to West Ham - undisclosed 2007. Lightweight defender who could not make an impact in heavyweight relegation fight.

24. Yaniv Katan Maccabi Haifa to West Ham - £100,000 2006. The Israeli signed a four-year deal for West Ham but this was reduced to six months and six games.

23. Lee Bowyer Leeds to West Ham - £100,000 2003. Looked awkward, overawed and spent during his first spell at West Ham.
