In keeping with the sites keen interest in the WNBA, one of the leagues "stars" was arrested for fighting with her live-in girlfriend. This is just another footnote in the death of a great civilization. One wonders on how many levels this type of news item defies comprehension. Here are two "professional" athletes, both playing in the same league, both now arrested for domestic abuse. So the questions are....are they both suspended in line with sports get tough policies on domestic abuse? How can a league have athletes on different teams that are lovers? Doesn't that violate just about every concept of teamplay and the competitive nature of sports. Won't the eventual "marriage" of gay athletes that compete against each other destroy the very nature....oh forget it.

"WNBA star Brittney Griner and her girlfriend were arrested yesterday for assault and disorderly conduct following a fight in the couple’s Arizona home, police report. Griner, 24, and fiancee Glory Johnson, a fellow WNBA player, were busted after cops were called to their Phoenix residence Wednesday afternoon. Griner and Johnson each suffered minor injuries during the fight.

Griner, seen in the above mug shot, and Johnson, 24, were booked into the Maricopa County jail, from which they were released early today.
The 6’ 8â€￾ Griner stars for the Phoenix Mercury, while Johnson plays for the Tulsa Shock. The couple had been planning to get married next month."

I have a couple of rent houses about 4 minutes from the Baylor campus, and the people around there are retarded for two people. Robert Griffen, and Brittany Griner. They absolutely worship these animals. Its sad.

We are living in a cartoon. As a matter of fact, what would R. Crumb make of all the rich material our "culture" is now pumping out on a daily basis? Where have all the great cartoonists gone, by the way? Doesn't matter I suppose, because we are living in one.

This subsidized (by the $NBA$), patronized (Red ink & massive ticket giveaways), affirmative action league of their own is in a constant identity crisis. They want to be appreciated for their game but can't attract a sufficient "paying" audience. The ones who do pay are diesel dykes, family members, and the rest are group giveaways to school children and LGBT organizations.
They are both proud of and embarrassed by their players and paying fans being largely lesbians. The identity crisis includes the issue of femininity, an issue that plagues other female sports. They have dress, makeup codes for events off the court to make them look more appealing. Still they can't hide the fact that there are too many of them who look like men, and those are the White players. The ugly black ones are downright gorilla looking and very ghetto thuggish. Over and over the women(many who may be post-chop-a-dicktomy hermaphrodites) answer liberal reporters questions about being feminine and yet strong aggressive athletes. The dilemma is irreconcilable so it's always a semantic exercise in massaging the meaning of femininity.
The league is resigned to the fact that they ain't gonna be solvent, and the women are going to be masculine looking because that is what it means to be athletic.
These two apes marriage is just part of the freak show.
