Just watched Wlad v Haye from 4 years ago and some of his recent fight with Jennings then watched Fury v Chisora and his most recent fight with the Romanian Hammer which i had not seen[Hammer is no joke]This fight is a superfight [though its not billed that way]and one of the most intruiging heavyweight fights in years.I want Wlad to win because if he were to lose it will destroy his legacy even though he is past his prime going by the Jennings fight and nearly every champion in history has lost past their prime. The media wont take that into account though,if he were to lose they would claim he was never great to begin with and fed on easy oppostion and from what i saw in the Chisora rematch Fury is a threat to him.

Fury has great punch motion, probably superior to Wlads. He switches from a right handed stance to a left handed one with ease and very few fighters of any weight class can do that effectively and i dont think there has ever been a heavyweight do it in history.Takes a lot of balance to do that its like being right handed and trying to play pool or darts with your left hand. He's got fast hands and flicks shots, sometimes whipping shots and outside uppercuts like a Flyweight would Steve Bunce noted this.He has a vast array of punches and combinations that he throws from either stance. Some of the combos he landed on Kevin Johnson were Calzaghe like. He's got wicked biomechanics and agility for a guy that big to be moving around the ring like a lightweight.

Against Hammer and Chisora Fury was effective defensively as he rolls with shots and comes back with counters.Lomachenko is one of the best in boxing at this and Mayweather is known for it but you dont see many heavyweights do it.He smashed Chisoras face and broke his nose landing counters off the ropes or in the middle. Its very effective when 6'9 with an 85 inch reach. Some of the stuff he done against Hammer was old school like little half steps, faints, counters taking a step back against the ropes throwing an uppercut and spinning off.Fighters like Willie Pep who no one could hit used to do this kind of stuff not a heavyweight. Its high level technical work and Hammer a former world youth champ was hitting thin air.Chisora a 250lb Joe Frazier clone was also hitting thin air.

Fury has obviously put in hours and hours of technical work with his coach and is improving fight by fight.Wlad has failed black contender Jonathan Banks has his coach who's crap.Blacks like Emanual Steward didn't even truly like Wlad or care about him.Do black guys like Banks or Steward want Wlad breaking heavyweight records held by other Black fighters.Vitali knew this which is why he was banned from Wlads camps and never got along with Steward.Tranvestite Frank Maloney suggested the same thing. It was a known fact that Steward who was enamoured by David Haye wantd Haye to win.Wlad was poor against Jenning[make no mistake]and for a while looked under stress during the fight yet Banks offered no worthwile advise.

This is true.

Wlad did well in spite of Steward, not because of him. Steward pushed Wlad to punch himself out against the limited Brewster for an embarassing loss. Yet the caste media gives Steward credit for his success.

I think that Fury is greatly improved too, and yes especially in his fight with the Rhodesian criminal Chisora. Also he has no fear as those traveler-gypsies are brought up from infanthood to fist fight. Very interesting match coming up I think. The part about Wlad looking poorly and under stress vs. Jennings I don't recall though. I need to rewatch that fight to refresh my memory.

Bum fighter Shannon Briggs crashed a Klitschko media scrum once again and this time he pissed off Klitschko enough that he tugged at Briggs "Just For Men" gray goatee. After that Briggs went off in his hyper over the top wrestling routine. Here is the video......https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7du2Ep_j_B8

Lol, Wladimir has a new hairstyle, never seen his hair like that before. He looks like he is going for a Gennady Golovkin look with that haircut!

Shannon Briggs is an over the top nutcase. Ive seen videos of him on youtube in confrontations with Wladimir and even Deontay Wilder in an airport where he just keeps shouting "Let's Go Champ". Is that his nickname or something? If not, it should be. Every 5 seconds he just yells "Let's Go Champ!"

There used to be this retarded guy who posted on boxrec.com forums, in the mid 2000's, his name was Charlie Zelenoff and he posted youtube videos challenging other boxrec posters to pro boxing matches despite not even having any amateur experience or even being able to throw a punch properly. He also posted videos of himself punching walls, and statues. Eventually he did have a pro fight and lost by DQ in round 1 VS a guy who was like 0-15. Shannon Briggs reminds me of Zelenoff.

Does Wlad give him the fight? Maybe, if Im Wlad I would do it. At some point when a guy talks so much crap, time to step up.

If I am Wlad, the only way I give Briggs a shot is to pay him just 50,000.00. The beat the holy sh*t out of him. Complete what Vitali almost did. Leave in the hospital for a month. After that instead of saying "lets go Champ" he will be saying "I'm done champ."

Wilder fought Zelenoff which should tell you what a complete joke Wilder is.

BS2, why do you think Wladimir allows this buffoonery to continue? I can't help but believe that this may be manufactured!

Latest Klitschko-Briggs confrontation

Wladimir is not used to dealing with these USSSA street n's so he just keeps smiling like a fool. Also they are doing a pathetic buildup to a wrasslin style "grudge fight". All it needs is Vince McMahon and folding chairs. Don't tell me there's no security at his workouts and public appearances, because what if the next street n'r, or Briggs himself, was to show up with a gun? Same when that Zimbabwe (t/n Rhodesia) cannibal spit in his face. Do that to any other boxer and the place would have erupted into a pier six brawl. That's why the n's and wiggers are contemptious of him. They see his over politeness as weakness. That is how the lower animals interpret too civilized behavior. They understand and respect one thing and one thing only, strength.

I see your point werewolf, but actually I think Wald handled himself expertly. As soon as Briggs confronted him, he commented that Briggs wasn't wearing any shoes. Like where are your fcuking shoes bud before you talk to the champ. He's insulting Briggs' class. It was also hilarious to see Wladimir pull on Briggs beard.

Wladimir has never been a big talker like Fury. I think Wladimir handles himself very well. To be honest I'd like to see him fight Briggs next (assuming he gets by Fury, which is no guarantee).

Also, does anyone know why Briggs is always sweating so profusely? Every time he confronts Wladimir or Wilder his face seems to be drenched in sweat. Roid rage?

We totally disagree on this, my friend. I think it would make a mockery of the so called sport and reduce it to the level of the WWE "sports entertainment" and be totally unfair to the guys who are legitimately waiting on line for the big money fight and reduce Wladimir's personal credibility to that of the likes of nutbag Briggs.

Fightnews.com: "Briggs-Marrone LIVE UPDATES!"

Give me a break. Like it's for real, huh? Like we can't figure out that this guy Marrone isn't getting paid to just fall down on the floor ASAP. And by the way, whatever happened to drug testing? Is Briggs getting tested for steroids and all the other drugs he's on?

The commissions are corrupt and in the past have worked with promoters to keep the card going if the headliner has failed a PED test.

Plus many commissions have idiotic 6 to 1 Testosterone ratios. A normal man is 1 to 1, so a freak of nature type ie a young Mike Tyson might be a shade over 2 to 1. Briggs can juice away as long as we wants as long as he works with a doctor to not be above 6 to 1.

Ps Marrone looked like your regular bar fly at the press conference a month ago. He no longer has any ambition to be a legitimate fighter Here's a photo from the press conference.....http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/photos-briggs-moorer-kickoff-presser-301407

Thanks for the details on their phony drug testing, WIR.

Marrone lost four of his last seven and had only beaten guys with losing records in those seven, and that goes back over seven years, and he's only fought once in about the last four years, in that case winning a split decision from a guy who had lost 6 of his last 7 fights, and that was a great big four round fight, and mostly he's only fought in 4 and 6 round fights...and then doped up nutbag here is "fighting" this guy and then demanding a big money championship fight, huh...and Fightnews is running headlined "updates" on this great big fight. Marrone was ranked #267 by BoxRec. They've now dropped him down to # 269.

After a truly bizarre press conference which featured Fury dressed up as batman and challenging Klitschko to a fight right there and then (see below); Wladimir has subsequently pulled out of the fight due to an injury and the fight is tentatively rescheduled for one month from now.

This seems to happen to many of Fury's opponents. David Haye also pulled out of fights with Fury twice and claimed injury. I think Haye was just scared.

It's hard to say whether Wlad's injury is legitimate or not. Could be. Could also be that Wlad is a bit intimidated by Fury. Could also be that Wlad wants more time to physically and mentally prepare. Could also be that he is trying to gain some kind of psychological edge over Fury. Fury has no fear as you can see from the press conference, he's a bit of a loose cannon. But the guy is a fighter through and through. He ain't scared of Wlad one bit and you can see. Wladimir may be the guy to shut Fury up but Fury is here to fight and will make it difficult for Wlad.

[video=youtube;450UVgq4XsM]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=450UVgq4XsM[/video]

I know some of the guys on this site don't take well to Fury's Irish traveler heritage. Well I'll say this: He seems to have more courage than 99% of other Europeans. This guy is full of confidence and up till now he's backed it up completely. I think he may be getting to Wlad to be honest...

Wlad's been a great champ, but he's getting older now, and he's matched with a guy who's here to fight! Anything can happen.

I think that press conference was put on similar to the pro wrestling theatrics because afterwards they were all seen including Fury and Klit shaking hands in the hotel lobby.Fury acting this way at press conferences is nothing new though as he's been doing it his whole career going back to his fight with Chisora back in 2011.

I get the feeling the injury may be fake and its most likely due to Wlad needing a longer camp to prepare.Don't think his camp has gone smoothly as he's been training for the last month in Florida. Why's he training in Florida when his camp is usually based in Austria? He's broke away from his routine and i think he now realizes he needs slightly longer to get 100% right.

It appears that Fury is serious. There are reports that he is tremendous condition, unlike anytime before and sporting a six pack. Intriguing fight ahead.
