This will be an easy fight For Klitschko. Fury was knocked down by 206 pound cruiserweight Steve Cunningham, imagine what will happen when a 250 pound huge puncher like Klitschko with far superior skills to Cunningham fights him.

I agree that Fury isn't in the same class as Wladimir. That said, he is still one of the very best HW fighters out there, and would rather easily dispatch someone like Wilder.

Fury has the size and even the gumption to beat many heavyweights in the division, there's no question-especially when they are shorter than he.

Unfortunately, he has had to develop and sharpen his skills against a steady diet of black bums, and lower tear fighters, while being kept away from significant bouts.

Consequently, Tyson has not accrued the experience or training to beat a Klitscho.

Perhaps a not to surprising loss to K will teach him something and in a way, equip him to fight for the title later-on.

In sum, if this fight does happen, I see Fury as a dangerous factor early on (rounds 1-3), then the systematic dismantling by Klitschko ensues with a knock-out between rounds 5-8.

Peter Fury Tyson's coach is saying Fury will train like a spartan in Ireland for 4 months and will hit Wladimir with the kind of combinations and from angles Wlad has never encountered before. They feel Wlad is robotic and his style can't work against Fury's.Tyson has stated that he will play with Wlad and switch from right to southpaw and then back again to confuse Wlad.I like the confidence and it is a quality fight.

I'm really looking forward to this fight and I think it's going to be highly entertaining and a clash of two very different styles and two very different men. I think this could be the fight of the year. Probably the most excited I've been for a fight since Kovalev-Hopkins, and that was in 2014.

I'm a huge supporter of Wlad Klitschko and always have been. What to say about him? He's easily a top-5, likely a top-3, or *the* top heavyweight of alltime. Purely going by the numbers, he's been champion now for roughly 10 years, and he has I believe the 2nd highest amount of title defenses in history (and of course, he's still going!). Wladimir has fought solid competition. Wladimir has a laser-like jab, powerful right hand, and his left hook can be downright lethal. He likes to fight at a distance and does tend to hold a bit. Wladimir is also used to having a size advantage over his opponents, which he will not have VS Fury (Fury is 3 inches taller than Wlad).

I'm also a huge supporter of Tyson Fury. He seems to have all the confidence in the world (and let's not forget, a large part of boxing has to do with mentality and mental strength), and possesses underrated boxing skills. He's also the younger, and bigger man. I thought he looked good against Steve Cunningham, he did go down in round 2, but he adjusted and used his size expertly and basically beat Cunningham down. His rematch with Chisora was also a solid win. Got a good jab when he uses it. Uses his size very well.

I expect Fury to be ultra aggressive in the early rounds of the fight. Wlad definitely hits much harder of the two, and I could see a scenario where Fury gets brave in the first few rounds and tries to bully Wlad, and Wlad lands some big counter shots (like the Cunningham fight). I think the question is if Wlad can take Fury out (I am going to say yes, because Wlad hits very hard). Because if Fury gets up and begins to use his size on Wlad it will be an interesting fight. So, actually, because of the size difference, I expect Wlad to do better early in the fight, while as the fight goes later, Fury will have an advantage because of his size, kind of like how the Cunningham fight played out.

It's a hard fight to predict and a lot of it comes down to if Wlad, at age 39, can still pull the trigger like he could for all of his career. Some have suggested he looked a bit "older" in his last fight (VS Jennings), and we'll definitely find that out in this fight. Because of Wlad's age and Fury's underrated skills, I do give Fury a decent chance of pulling the upset.

This fight may come down to who can land their jab more effectively. Who can dictate the pace of the fight and who can land their jab? Both men rely on the jab heavily and this fight is very much a jabber VS a jabber.

As for a prediction, I'll predict Klitschko in a close decision where both fighters land big shots. Id say theres also a chance of an early Klitschko KO, and there's also a chance of a late round TKO for Fury.

I expect Wlad will KO him too, but he is greatly improved. He made mincemeat out of the Englishman - yeah right - by way of the African jungle, Chisora, and he was sick at the time too. He's unpredictable and bigger than Wlad. If nothing else the pressers should be funny.

I remember the press conference before his fight with Steve Cunningham, Fury was very heated, insulted Cunningham and members of his team in a bar (nearly instigating a race brawl with Steve's all black entourage), and said he was going to do a "demolition job" on Steve. And that's exactly what Tyson did. Yea, he got dropped but got up and dominated, absolutely beat the sh1t out of Cunningham and KO'd him. I've never seen Cunningham beaten that badly. David Haye pulled out of his fight with Fury, and I honestly believe part of it is that he was intimidated by Fury. To be honest, if the fight happened I think Fury would have KO'd Haye. Fury is too big for Haye and it would have been a repeat of the Cunningham fight.

Tyson Fury has a genuine confidence in himself and a lot of guys are intimidated by him. He's also huge, strong, and knows how to fight. Wlad is used to jabbing and holding. I dont think that will work VS Fury. TBH, I think Fury is the most dangerous fight for Wlad.

I am certain that Wlad would KO Wilder.
I'm also fairly certain he'd beat Povetkin in a rematch.

But Fury? He's the one guy I think poses a real danger to Wlad. Especially now at 39.

I guess the fight will tell all!

Yeah a lot of guys seem to be indimidated by Fury Chisora was and i think Haye was too but Wladimir wont.Wlad is the favorite for me as super champs just find a way of winning but if Fury puts in a good performance he can gain from the fight. At 26 he wont reach his peak as a heavyweight box puncher until his 30's[ like Wlad himself] so he can come again. If he's destroyed like Pulev[Pulev's head was punched in]then it will be a lot harder.

Fury has stated on his twitter that he's going to KO Wlad and they better bring a tow truck to lift him up, lol. Peter Fury has promised that Tyson won't fight scared and will take the fight to Wlad.

Fury talks a lot but he always seems to back it up. I believe him when he says he's going for a KO. I think this is going to be an awesome fight.

And, in the past, Wlad had problems with guys who maintain a constant pressure. Basically, Fury needs to make it a brawl, that's his best chance to pull the upset.

Peter Fury has also commented on Wlad's fight with Wach, saying that Fury is much better than Wach and Wlad will be in for a rough fight. I agree with his comparison and find it very valid.

Man, I'm so pumped about this fight.

Super Champion VS Super Arrogant Challenger!

Anyone know who's broadcasting in N America? (HBO I'm guessing as part of Wlad's multi fight deal?)

Wlad has responded by saying Fury reminds him of Haye! Ha I like the build up to this fight.

IF Fury is going to have success, he will need to pinpoint his shots and not just jump and lunge in like Haye or Jennings did for example. He will actually need to be fit and keep a high pace for the entire fight. If he can do these things it will be an entertaining fight!

Interview with Tyson Fury during the media day promoting his upcoming fight with Wladimir Klitschko, where he talks about how he will beat Wlad.

Fury says "I didn't come here to win on points. And I didn't come here to lose on points."

In the press conference with Wladimir he also said that Wladimir is "old', "boring" and he said to Wlad, "don't forget you are nothing."

:D

I think this may be the fight of the decade.

Nah, Fury will make it interesting for a couple of rounds. Then, all of a sudden he will get clipped by a lead right and put to sleep by a Wlad hybrid left hook/uppercut.

Wladimir seemed to be playing mind games with Fury throughout the press conference. He's very clever like when he asked Fury[like a chat host would]how he felt to be challenging for the title he's putting Fury in a submissive position, undermining him so Fury responded with the heated exchange.Wlad from the interviews he's gave likes this side to Fury as it makes the build up interesting.Wlad will push more of Fury's buttons as the fight progresses. He's a master psycologist and see's himself as a therapist. He gave David Haye good therapy which made Haye a better person.I would advise anyone with spare time to watch Youtube video's of the varius Wlad v Haye press conferences as they are beyond funny.

WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO & TYSON FURY HEATED EXCHANGE AT FIRST PRESS CONFERENCE IN DUSSELDORF (GERMANY)

Fury sounded like a cross between Haye and Briggs and one of the big boxing forum wigger retards.

Yes he sounds like the two blow hards but at least he has backed up the bluster so far. The problem for him is Wlad is an all time great who maybe has shown faint skills erosion. I just don't see an opponent that can prepare you for Wlad on his resume. The gulf between Wlad and Povetkin is/was huge and Povetkin is viewed as the second best heavyweight. I think Fury goes out on his shield in the middle rounds or his uncle shows mercy and rescues him similar to Victor Valle rescuing Gerry Cooney against Holmes.

My favorite thing about this bout is that its a no lose from our perspective. If Klitschko wins (almost certain) then its par for the course. Another successful defense. If Fury pulls off the upset then at least the great old champ will have been dethroned by a young White lion rather than a negro.

Every wigger cliche that you see on the idiot boxing forums was coming out of Fury's mouth - Wlad is boring, has a glass jaw, robotic, clinches, fights bums, comparing him to the negro hype jobs of the past...and don't get me started on Gerry Cooney. I'm still po'd that he didn't become the champ because he could have and should have. And all that being said, I'm looking forward to Wlad vs Fury. It should be very interesting...but then I'm the guy who thought that Golota - Tyson would be the fight of the century...
