The German annoncer said something about a "plan B" for Eddie Chambers. Now would be the time to implement said plan.

Almost effortless domination. Wlad makes it look so easy, Chambers can't come close to going toe to toe with him.

Any boxer who has a female in his corner deserves to lose.

Wlad needed that tongue lashing from Manny. Congrats to Wlad. A systematic beatdown.

Since Klitschko knocked his opponent out I suspect the media won't criticize him as much as usual. We all know the medias hate for the Klitschko's and most white fighters who are champs. I think it's ironic that the much bigger man has better hand speed than afflete Eddie Chambers.

I think Wlad remember the Brewster and sanders fights. So what, just get the Ws and KOs like this.

Wlad fought an almost flawless fight. Chambers landed few shots during the entire fight and they were none of them were significant. Manny was correct in saying that there is no reason Wlad needs to get a UD.

If Wlad would had his brothers chin, he would probably go for the early knock out more. He is cautious because of his three losses but those came a long time ago. I'm just happy he got the knock out. Who has the most knockouts in the history of heavyweight boxing? I'm just curious.

Congrats to my boy Wlad! Now it's time for Vitali to do the same thing in a couple of months.

Steward knew what he saw. Chambers was gassed and ready to go. In the last round Chambers was just on his bicycle trying to survive. If Klitschko had listened to Emmanuel more I think he would have had Eddie out of there before the double digit rounds started.

Archie Moore has the most of any championship level fighters. But most of his were at Lt. Heavy.

Vitali will be fighting Polish fighter Albert Sosnowski. I hope Albert can keep it competitive.

Good article . The writer thinks the problem is his management. We know better.

Klitschko being muzzled to U.S. market

It's not reasonable to expect a rank-and-file German sports fan to be into, say, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite the power the NFL wields over the American sports scene, it's almost a non-entity in Europe.

Boxing, though, is an international sport that, theoretically at least, transcends borders. Yet, it's almost incomprehensible how big the chasm is in the sport when it comes to Wladimir Klitschko.

The International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organization heavyweight champion is a massive star in Europe and will attract a crowd in excess of 50,000 to his fight with American Eddie Chambers on Saturday in Dusseldorf, Germany. The television ratings in Germany will be at Super Bowl levels.

But here, Klitschko is essentially a dud. HBO passed on the fight. So, too, did Showtime, ESPN and every other broadcast entity in the U.S.

You're talking about one of the elite heavyweights in the world and the No. 9 overall fighter in the Yahoo! Sports poll going against the man widely regarded as the top American hopeful â€" and no one bothered to pick up the fight.

Just five years ago, that scenario was unimaginable. He's a brilliant athlete, but even more, he's a bright, articulate man who should be a star of the highest order. He's the kind of guy who could have the media eating out of his hand.

He's the kind of guy who can charm housewives as well as their sports-fanatic husbands. Klitschko, who has a doctorate in sports science, speaks five languages and is as adept at discussing international relations as he is at breaking down the heavyweight division.

But Klitschko has been inaccessible to the American media. There have been virtually no interviews with American media outlets. No American media outlet with any kind of significant audience has sent a reporter to Germany to cover the fight. He's been protected by an overzealous management team that somehow doesn't realize it has a good thing going. It needs to get out of the way and let Klitschko turn himself into a star. (snip)

You're welcome Westside. The Klitschko are to boxing what Fedor is to MMA. The lack of respect for them by the media is simply because they are white. Just look at the way the media kissed Lennox Lewis' a-s when he was champion. Vitali had Lewis beat and is clearly the better fighter yet no one wants to talk about that fight.
