Don, yeah, the mid 60s had some of the great sitcoms of all time. But, once the "Mod Squad" was broadcasted I had a weird feeling that things were a changing. We now know it was for the worst. The Axis of liberalism/socialism/progressivism (media, academia and hollyweird) began to take hold and further their corrupt grip on the minds of most Amerikans.

UNBELIEVABLE tennis from Kvitova in the final right now. 6-3 6-0, with 28 winners and only 12 unforced errors. A truly dominant performance -- more one-sided than the 2013 final, even though Bouchard is playing better and handling her nerves better than Lisicki did.
Well deserved second Wimbledon title for Kvitova. Hopefully the second of many for her. It is hard to see her not winning at least another 4/5 titles if she can play like this in subsequent years.

I just watched the replay on ABC without knowing who won, and yes that was spectacular tennis from Kvitova. Prolonged standing ovation for that display. It's easy to say but I can't recall ever seeing better, that was total mastery. Was rooting for Genie but can't help but be in awe at how Petra played.
Incredibly high standard of tennis from both Federer and Djokovic (currently in the 4th set) in the Wimbledon final. If you don't have cable, ABC is replaying it at 3pm ET.
They seem to have the balance just right now at Wimbledon between the old days when it was all big serves with no rallies and the last few years when the surface was too slow. Some great rallies and net play today.

Interesting match. Federer only had one break point in the first three sets and failed to convert it. Then, on the brink of defeat, he managed to go from 2-5 to 7-5, breaking Djokovic twice in a row out of nowhere to get a fifth set. Serious choking by Djokovic, but Federer also raised his level when he needed to (e.g. when he was facing championship point on his own serve). It could go either way now.
If he can win this, it would be sweet revenge for those painful semi-finals at the US Open in 2010 and 2011, where Djokovic saved match points to beat him both times.

Fantastic match, great tournament in every way. I found myself rooting for Djokovic, good to see him win another Grand Slam and move back to number one in the world. Roger still has a lot left in the tank and hopefully will win at least one more major before he's done.

I agree with you Don that it was an excellent match. Very few unforced errors, great all around competitive play from baseline strokes, net play, serves, and creative shots. A real back and forth epic battle. I was sad for Fed and I was pulling for him but it was a great, classic 5 set Wimbledon Final, the best I've seen since Fed beat Roddick in the 5th (16-14) in '09. I think Joker is on pace for more greatness. I have more respect than ever for him. A very gracious and classy match by both gentlemen. There is nothing like Wimbledon Finals when they are this great.

The average American may not care about tennis, but they don't care about LeBron either. ("Average" meaning non-black, non-Marxist). It's E$PN that's shoving LeBron down our throats 24/7.
The only LeBron-related thing I care about is hoping he stays as far away from LA as possible. We have enough of a media circus already.
