A lot of people that kind of know me don't understand why I hate Halloween.
It goes back to my childhood. I had really religious parents growing up. Church every Sunday and holidays and even Church school every Thursday night.
My parent's always regarded Halloween as liken to the Devil's Day.
The only way my parents would let me and my older brother and sister trick or treat was if we dressed up like a character from the bible.
My brother was always Joseph and my sister was always Mary.
When I turned 5 it was my time to trick or treat I did not get my brother's Joseph costume but instead got to dress up like a miniature Jesus. I had a robe and sandals and even a fake beard.
I guess it wasn't to bad but I realized it was very hard to ring a doorbell when your hands are nailed to a cross.
