Why I am forced to vote for McCain

I have given this a lot of thought. I was going to vote for a third party candidate. What it comes down to is that Obama must be stopped, and Mccain has the best chance. It is not that I like the guy. His personal behavior is questionable as is his health. He refuses to look into the POW issue. I dislike his pandering to the hispanic vote; I only hope he forgets these promises when elected. I will be holding my nose when I vote for him.
Obama is a menace. He cannot prove that he is a US citizen. He carefully picks his friends and picks the scum of the eart: Rev Wright, Father Flacky, the Chicago political machine, Bill Ayers and his wife, and others.
Obama has no experience, except at running non-profit foundations. His heart is with our enemies. I can go on.
If you haven't voted, vote for Mccain, the lesser of two evils.

Too late, I voted for Barr. I find it interesting that I was swayed, to some extent, to vote third party by reading some of the posts here. Now that the election is coming down to the wire I see that some of the same posters are abandoning ship and jumping on the McCain bandwagon. Not that its anyones business who you vote for but... go figure.

Obama is friends with Ayers/Wright/etc but it is brought up on television every night, over and over, even after he did the obligatory political maneuvers ("despicable words", "despicable acts", et. al). But after watching hundreds of hours of election coverage on Fox, I have only seen one mention of Charles Keating, and fumeser spaniel-in-human-form Sean Hannity yipped it down, protesting that McCain had not been found guilty of a crime (as though Obama's association with Ayers or Wright is a crime). One mention of how McCain backstabbed his true and faithful wife, again drowned out by Hannity shrieking that McCain was a POW and could do anything he wanted...us mortals couldn't understand. And unlike that idiot Ayers, McCain's father was a literal accessory to murder of over 30 Americans, but not one person in the media has asked McCain to repudiate his father. The media is "in the tank", as they say, for McCain, and they have been this whole time.

By the way, this is pretty odd. I have tried to change "fumeser" to "fumeser" several times with the edit function, and it just keeps reverting to "fumeser".Edited by: DWFan

I haven't been keeping track but as far as I know I am the only one that has switched his position from Third Party to McCain. Who else has changed their mind?

I myself was persuaded by some of the posters here to support McCain, so I guess it's a wash.

Are you serious? Other than Fox and a couple talk show hosts, it's all Obama.

I'm totally serious. What network, or show, ever asks any questions about McCain's association with Keating, even though that is exactly the sort of association that the American people, in this time of economic disaster, absolutely would not abide? Who's asked him about his father and the USS Liberty? Who skewers him about the way he cast his wife aside like a piece of garbage when she needed him the most? Who has asked him any questions about his stating--AFTER the government deigned to reveal that we had around 20 million illegal immigrants--that we had to accept them because we don't meet his standards at picking lettuce? Nobody. But tonight, as it has been for the last couple hundred nights, spaniels like Hannity will continue to hold Obama under siege about Wright and Ayers. They'll yip and yap the same things over and over, just as it's been this whole time, and McFreak will once again be unexamined.

McCain has always been an unprincipled political whore. Just like W. Bush, he's an incompetent whorose by virtue of his father's and grandfather's achievements and connections. (How many other men could survive crashing three different planes, and I don't mean physical survival.)McCain doesn't have a genuine conservative bone in his body.

If more than a few whites are still capable of regaining their survival instincts, Obama will be good therapy.

Look, I'm well aware of McCain's history. If youasked meto rankpossible presidential candidates from the Republican party he would be listed near the bottom, just above Arlen Specter.

But to say the media is in the tank for him is just not reality.

The media's main job is to prop up the two-party monopoly and the political system in general. Close, hotly contested elections between two parties whose differences are almost entirely rhetorical only keeps up the charade of "democracy" and "choice" in what is really a permanent one-party-with-two-wings system. What will we have in 2012? An openly homosexual presidential candidate? A VP candidate who is wheelchair bound? It's just gimmicks. The basic policies will be the same whether it's McCain or Obama.

Great post Don. We really are in a two party, one wing system, and if McCain is elected, it will only give false security to apathetic white men. However, if Obama is elected ithopefully will, as you said, awaken the repressed instinct of species survival to all white men with any semblance of instinctual energies.Edited by: Alpha Male

Like Shogun, I may end up voting for McCainiac. I can't believe I'm even writing that, but I just think that Obama will be so bad symbolically for white men that even an unprincipled cretin like McCainiac would be better, simply because he's white. I'm still not sure, but leaning that way.

I've said this before, but I feel that an Obama presidency would be like having Tiger Woods in office. It will be non-stop media worship 24/7. It will be like having Black History Month 365 days a year. In all reality, I agree with what Obama says much more than I agree with McCainiac (on the rare occasions he says anything one can understand), and he certainly sounds smooth and convincing. McCainiac will almost certainly be worse from a policy standpoint; even more foreign meddling and a longer stay in Iraq. However, I'm growing more convinced that, as important as all that is, the symbol a black president will represent, to young Americans and around the world, would be more devastating to white people, particularly white men, than a continuation of the disastrous Bush policies that McCainiac would represent.

I also was impressed with Shogun's answer to Colin Powell's ridiculous excuse that his voting for Obama was "not about race." Shogun said that he was voting for McCain for the same reason. I may still revert to form and vote third party, but it looks like I may very well vote for a candidate I really, really don't like.

Why would anyone vote for a candidate they don't like? It's not like that one vote has any significance. In most places one candidate or the other is safe so your vote is a waste in a sea of votes one way or the other.

If you want your vote to have any real significance then vote for who you like. The only point of voting is to stand up and say "this is who I support"! If you don't like anyone then don't vote. Why the argument about voting to "stop" Obama or "punish" McCain, your vote is not going to do anything like that. Why have people bought into the fiction that their one vote is anything more then a symbol?

McCain and Obama are the same candidate. It makes no difference if McBama wins. You see, regardless of&nbs p;their appearances, they both want the same institutional control and both believe in socialism/fascism.

I am voting for Chuck Baldwin after Barr behaved childishly.

Agreed. After looking at ALL of the candidates thats why I chose Barr. Didn't have to hold my nose either. When Americans can shake loose of the demorepublican stranglehold then you will see credible third parties/candidates.

Wait! I changed my mind! BHO is going to create a civilian national security force. It will be larger than the armed forces. I always wanted to be a Standartenfuhrer in BHO's personal SS. I always wanted this kind of power. Tell you more later.

Of course it's ridiculous to vote for someone you don't like. However, that's the reality we face; no Democratic or Republican presidential nominee could ever be likeable to someone who respects the Bill of Rights and the spirit of independence upon which this nation was founded. We have been given two choices, and that's all they will ever give us. It is ALWAYS Tweedledum vs. Tweedledee. It is ALWAYS a question of voting for the lesser of two evils.

Most of the time, I've voted third party. However, the only time in my life that I truly voted FOR someone was when I voted for Pat Buchanan in 2000. I liked some things about Ross Perot, but when I voted for him in '92 and '96, it was mainly to try and garner support for a viable third party. After reading the "Votescam" research done by the late Collier brothers, I don't really think any votes are counted, anyhow. So perhaps it's all an exercise in futility.

That being said, I will do my constitutional duty, even if I believe my vote isn't being counted. One thing is for certain; if I vote for any of the third party candidates, who are clearly better options, it definitely won't be counted. As I mentioned in my previous post, the danger an Obama presidency poses for white men everywhere is symbolic, but crucial. We all know that Obama's policy decisions will be made behind the scenes by the usual suspects, who would make the same decisions for McCainiac. I just don't want to be subjected to Black History Month 365 days a year. I don't want to imagine how much more arrogant the average black can become with a black president in office. I don't want to think of how much worse our civilization will become if blacks get any more "self-esteem."

If 95% of the blacks can vote for Obama, first and foremost because he's black, then I can vote for McCain
because he's white.

I talk to the BHO Headquarters. They won't let me join the Civilian National Security Force. It is because I am white! The security force will only take black people. I am discriminated against because of the color of my skin. I cannot get in touch with my inner Fascist due to the color of my skin. (BTW, this security force is expected to be larger than our armed forces. Good luck finding enough blacks to fill the ranks.)

I want a quality 3rd party. I believed that Ross perot's 3rd party delayed our current economic problems by 8 years. Because of his popularity, the other two parties had to be careful.
Since Illinois has gone heavily for the Dems, I felt my vote would not be wasted if it went to a third party.
Then I realized that BHO has never won a real election. He runs for open seats or has no opponent. When BHO ran against Bobby Rush, he was soundly defeated. The powers that be made a point to destroy Jack Ryan, because Mr. Ryan could defeat BHO. Then the rubups ignored other good rebups and ran an outsider. This guarented a BHO win.
I am unsure BHO is that popular in Illinois. It would be nice if BHO would lose Illinois. It has the 5th greatest amount of electorial votes. Losing the home state in a landslide loss would take the popularity out of Obamaism.
If you voted for a 3rd party, that is fine. We need a good third party. But, for Illinois, it is better to hold your nose and vote for McCain.
Obama must be defeated.

I went into this election with my decision to vote for McCain from the get-go. The way I look at it, voting for a third party candidate is like throwing a vote in the toilet. Reason being, is that third party candidates historically never gain enough supoort to ever win an election. Ross Perot came the closest to being elected when he ran against Bush and Clinton some years back. And he only earned 20% of the overall votes.

I pretty much had to vote for McCain...he's the lesser of the evils.

*yawn* Ground, you didn't have to vote for McCain, you chose to do so. The vote in the toilet argument is one of the oldest that the neo-cons use to get people to swallow their pathetic offerings every four years. If you continue to believe it and vote the way they want you to, nothing will ever change.
