Who are your favorite White actors?

I know Hollywood and the movie industry is filled with jews and I was wondering who some of your favorite White actors were?

I like Matthew McConaughey, i dont know much about his personal life but he potrays a strong athletic White male in the movies i have seen of him
I also like Mark Wahlberg, i thought he might be jewish because of his last name but he didnt look it, and i did some research and he is actually Irish, French, and Swedish

Its good to see tough White guys in hollywood instead of fat slobs, scrawny nerds/wimps or guys potrayed as idiots. Usually jews are in these roles and are mistaken for being White.

I would get into White actresses but that might make my fiance jealous hehe

Certainly those three, I also like Mel Gibson although "refuse to cow tow to the Jewish Bullies in Hollywood" would not describe his pathetic pleading after his drunked arrest scandal regarding his remarks about jews.

Russell Crowe seems like a good guy. I have always liked Tom Selleck too. Bruce Willis makes good movies. And you have to say Charleton Heston whose late life stance for gun rights was incredibly heroic.

Russell Crowe is the best actor alive. Di Caprio is probably as talented but can't pull off the tough guy roles as well as Crowe, although Di Caprio was great in The Departed and that African movie, Blood Diamonds.

As an actor and person, my favorite is Matt Damon. He just seems like a regular, down to earth guy.

An interesting question would be who is everybody's favorite black actor, because I'm guessing everyone's "favorite actor" will be the same as their "favorite white actor." Besides Denzel Washington, I think all other famous black actors are vastly overrated. People complain about not enough roles for black actors, but I don't see too many great black actors out there.Edited by: Fightingtowin

i will say that i have a fondness for Jason Statham, even though he's not a great actor. in every movie of his i've seen, he has at least one scene where he beats one or more negroes to a pulp or makes them look like fools. gotta love that!

You are right about that. He doesn't have nearly as much range as guys like Crowe, Hanks, Di Caprio or even Sean Penn (who I disagree with pretty much everything politically, but is a hell of an actor). Even Tom Cruise has more range.

There has never really been any great black actors. Portier pretty much played the Washington roles in his times and didn't exhibit much range. Guys like Washington, Will Smith, Forest Whitaker, Wesley Snipes are very good actors, but don't hold a candle to guys like Brando, Newman, De Niro, Pacino, Hopkins, Crowe, etc. The white actors are just on a different level. There is a pretty sizable gap.

I forgot about Anthony Hopkins. He is actually my favorite. If you've never seen The Lion in Winter, rent it. It's his first film role and he plays Richard the Lion Heart, who would go on to become a hero during the Crusades in the 12th century. You won't be dissapointed. Edited by: Fightingtowin

Portier pretty much played the Washington roles in his times and didn't exhibit much range.

Poitier should be given some sort of honor in American filmmaking as the quintessential Magic Negro; was there ever a film he starred in where he wasn't the lone schwartze in a sea of white, always playing the noble, enabling sort? A one-trick pony if ever there was one.

Josh Harnett and Paul Walker are very good on the rung just below the top. Both in recent years were in very good B-movies. Harnett in one where he plays a sheriff's deputy in Barrow, Alaska fighting vampires, acts like a real white man should, and Walker where he plays an undercover FBI agent putting it to the Russkie mob. Walker's movie had a serious cut in it that discombobulated the whole movie but it does not distract from his ability. My WAG is that the studio chopped up a another nihilistic mob movie to make Walker's character out to be the good guy, preserving his value. Put Viggo Mortensen at the top movies "History of Violence" and "Eastern Promises" highly recommended.Edited by: wile

One of the Wahlberg brothers was arrested in Boston as a teenager for beating up a black for racial reasons. He was with a group of whites out looking for trouble. But he's of course done everything possible to make amends since.

Daniel Day Lewis is on a different level altogether; his performance in "There Will Be Blood" was phenomenal. Of coruse, Merryl Streep is also one of the best; she's been nominated more than anyone.

Mickie Rourke was outstanding in "The Wrestler."

Vincent D'Onofrio is simply brilliant. Few people know his name, even though he'sportrayed some of the most memorable characters to ever grace the big screen. D'Onofrio is first known for his portrayal of the fat dumbass private Leonard "Gomer Pyle" Lawrence in Full Metal Jacket. more recently, he was the Edgar skin-suit Bug in the hilarous movie Men In Black.


now, he's a detective on Law and Order: Criminal Intent. and while i don't care for any of the Law and Order shows, i will acknowledge his still brilliant performances.

They are from Dorchester. A working class suburb of Boston that is half black. Rumbling with black youth would have been fairly normal when that area of Boston was integrating.

Good list, except for Vin Diesel. 

I pretty much knew Vin Diesel was partially black when I looked at him. But when he first got roles he would always play white ethnic characters. As for his acting its mediocre at best.
