This quote from Wikipedia in the article "Race and Sports" is interesting...
""Black athletic superiority" is the theory that black people possess certain traits that are acquired through genetic and/or environmental factors that allow them to excel over other races in athletic competition. Whites are more likely to hold these views; however, some blacks and other racial affiliations do as well.[24][25][26] A 1991 poll in the United States indicated that half of the respondents agreed with the belief that "blacks have more natural physical ability".[27]"
Admittedly Wikipedia is prone to bias and manipulation, the same article implied blacks have a quicker "reaction time" which is wrong and actually the opposite, but that seemed to be removed in the most recent revisions. This, however, seems to mirror reality.
Most blacks in my experience believe it but at least the same proportion of whites do and to a greater extent.
---
I have noticed whenever someone brings up trans athletes competing and dominating women's sports, oftentimes a probably white person will cite black over-representation in the NFL/NBA and bring up the reasoning of supposed black athletic superiority. To in their mind render any criticisms of men competing in women events null and hypocritical.
