When was the last time the NFL’s best WR was white? Cooper Kupp is easily the best. Great moving forward for CF.

Without going back 50 years I would say jordy Nelson, while not being the clear best WR was certainly top 3 for a couple of years in the mid 2010’s.
Wes Welker was also top three or top five for several years during the same time period, maybe higher as he put up some amazing numbers such as five seasons with over 110 catches. Both Jordy and Wes had to serve racial apprenticeships, which may end up preventing one or both from getting to Canton.
Welker was one of the most productive receivers in football for much of his 12-year NFL career, retiring with 903 receptions good for 9,971 yards and 50 receiving touchdowns. More significantly, he led the NFL in receptions three times, finished second once and was the first receiver in NFL history to have three 110-reception seasons and first to have five 100-reception seasons.
That production took him to five Pro Bowls and garnered him two first-team All-Pro selections and two second team All-Pro designations. Wes Welker was also 2nd in the nfl
in receiving yards one year in addition to many other records.
