White Sprinters

Speaking of stereotyping,whites are not supposed to be
able to be elite sprinters.We have 2 white guys that
made the world championship team from the U.S. Jeremey
Wariner and Andrew Rock.These guys are role models for
the little kids that might try to pursue track.They are
very important as role models acheiving the highest level
in a black dominated sport.We must support these guys.
They are just as important as Stokely & Bennett.Let's
all help keep the track board going and look for more
sprinting stars.Thanks guys.

Just a quick note on sprinters.Most people do not realize
just how fast these guys are.These guys run the 40 in
around a 4.0-4.1.They can run in speeds from 26-28 m.p.h.
They also usually have vertical leaps in the 45 inch
range.Yes I'm not kidding.Some are even in the 50+ inch
vertical range.If that is not enough,most of them also
bench press 300-400 pounds and they do not weigh that
much.I won't even get into how much they can squat.They
are amazing athletes.I would love to have seen a Dusty
Stamer as a running back but he got screwed.I can tell
you one thing.He was as fast as Barry Sanders.If he
breaks that initial couple of tackles,you are only going
to see his heels!That is the greatest thing about
track,times don't discriminate.At the end of the day,
it's like tennis.Your on your own.

Those stats are nuts. I think my top end is 19 mph...yikes.
