Despite their underrepresentation in the league, White players are excelling in the Rebounds Per 48 Minute stat. 7 of the top 12 are White:

1. D. Howard18.4
*2. A. Biedrens 18.0
3. M. Camby17.0
4. R. Evans16.5
*5. J. Przybilla 16.4
6. E. Dampier 16.4
7. J. Noah16.2
*8. A. Bogut16.2
*9. T. Murphy16.0
*10. Z. Pachulia 15.9
*11. K. Love15.5
*12. A. Gray15.4

Rebounds per minute is a stat that does not lie.

Yesterday's rebounding numbers...

David Lee: 21
Troy Murphy: 15
Kevin Love: 14
Marc Gasol: 10

Today-

Nocioni: 15
David Lee: 11

I've always felt that, if Whites can rebound and block shots, they could also score if the league was racially balanced. Every team should have at least 2-3 White starters and a bunch of White subs.

Linas Kleiza does well everytime he gets minutes. With Carmelo injured, he's doing well again.

There also was a Danilo Gallinari siting today!

rebounds is to basketball what tackling is to football it seems like.

fundamentals, squaring up and boxing out, plus a good work ethic are key.

Today's rebounding:

Andris Biedrins: 15 (in 32 mins)
Marc Gasol: 13
Pau Gasol: 12
David Lee: 10

Pau Gasol is getting closer to 5,000 career rebounds and 1,000 blocks.

Not bad for a guy that has missed quite a few career games.

Andris Biedrins' already has over 500 rebounds this season (2,412 in his career).

If all goes well, he'll be the rare White athlete to finish his NBA career with 12,000+ rebounds.

He's very close to 400 career blocks. Andris is taller than AK-47, but definitely not an ELITE shot-blocker yet. He needs to block more shots in order to break stereotypes.

ALL-Time rebounding list:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/trb_career.html

Dirk is nearing 7,000! He's moving up the list! He will join Detlef Schrempf in the 7,000 club!

Look at all the "big-name" retired players, many of them bigs, that have less than 6,000 career rebounds! I hope Troy Murphy, who currently has 4,100 rebounds, reaches 6,000+... if he gets minutes for 3 more seasons, he should be able to do it.

Elden Campbell finished his career with only 6,116 rebounds! Rasheed Wallace currently has less rebounds than Dirk.

OUR warriors' need to pass as many "long-armed" blacks as possible. I do have a good amount of basketball cards (they contain some stats), and rebounding has always fascinated me. Minus having some decent inserts of guys like Tim Duncan, it's mostly cheap-type sports cards in the main set that I have. Should I start a bonfire and throw in the worthless Kobe's and Iversons? I don't like thugs and predators! Would that be a racist hate crime? I can imagine blacks burning Dirk and Nash and Stockton cards....

Just Do it!!!

Burn most of those Black Player cards, except for Tim Duncan (he's one of the few blacks these days I truly respect), I would.

Dirk Nowitzki will reach 7,000 rebounds, and gun for the 8,000 mark. He will end his career with over 20,000 points and 8,000 rebounds.

Troy Murphy will reach 6,000 rebounds, and gun for 7,000, only a nasty injury will prevent that from happening.

At the season's mid-point, 4 of the NBA's top 6 in rebounds per 48 minutes are White:

1. M. Camby 18.9
2. D. Howard 18.6
3. A. Biedrens 18.0
4. K. Love 17.5
5. J. Przybilla 17.1
6. T. Murphy 16.5

I like the rebounds per 48 minutes stat because it can't be affected by the caste system like other stats. Obviously, scoring stats are skewed based upon how many shots your coach allows you to take or whether your Black brethren will pass you the ball. Also, most NBA caste coaches won't allow the White player to play enough minutes to lead the league in rebounding.

Whites do have 3 of the top 5 in overall rebounds per game: Biedrens, Murphy and David Lee. I'd love to see one of them win the rebounding title over the "super-human" Dwight Howard.

Even the all around rebounding list as of today. We have three of the five top rebounders in the whole nba. That shows white athleticism!

white lightning</span>, that is an incredible stat figure. It's been ages for whites to make an impact in that basketball department, I'm very glad 3 of the top 5 are white.

The best part is that, all 3 whites are very young Lee (25), Biedrins (22), and Murphy (28), expect these guys including Kaman (who out indefinitely), to be a major force in the rebounding department for many years to come.

Not only that, these guys can also score Lee (15.5), Biedrins (15.0), and Murphy (12.1).

Marc Gasol had 16 rebounds (6 offensive) yesterday!

He's doing an excellent job of keeping wasted-pick Hasheem Thabeet on the bench.

For those of you wanting to catch David Lee in action, there is a televised game featuring the Cavs and Knicks tommorrow night on ESPN.

Marc Gasol, Lee, Kaman & Murphy should finish this season in the TOP 10 rebounding department. Provided all 4 can stay healthy all season. David Lee should again be among the leaders in double-doubles.

guest301, I'll be watching that one but all CF hoops fans should look out for Gallo as well. He starts now.

j41181, don't forget about Pau Gasol when healthy and Andrew Bogut who is a double figure guy when healthy. Also, Luis Scola has a chance for tons of boards this year with Yao out.

This has to be the best game by Andrew Bogut I've seen thus far:

22 points (8-14 FG's, 6-6 FT's)
8 rebounds
4 assists
1 block

Bucks trashed the Knicks, 102-87. The 6-6 FT's is just music to my eyes, I mean, why can't this Aussie fix his FT shooting?

Freethinker, the reason I don't consider Andrew Bogut often is his lousy FT shooting. I personally think Bogut's offense would be more efficient had he been a better FT shooter. Pau Gasol's durability is getting tested again, and I personally think it's time he quit playing for his country's national. Seeing that he has done so much for pride and country. Until he get's into real NBA form, I will not consider him just yet.

Ersan Ilyasova grabbed 13 rebounds of the bench, in just 23 minutes.
Chris Andersen grabbed 11 rebounds of the bench, in just 24 minutes. Edited by: j41181

Dirk Nowitzki - 29 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block

Luis Scola - 22 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals

Andrew Bogut - 23 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 4 blocks

Bogut also went 3-3 FT's tonight! If he shoots better his FT's, his offense will be more efficient!

Bogut is back to his form of two years ago. If only Jumping Joe can get healthy. I don't know why they are not playing Ridnour more though. Jennings is good but they both should be able to get quality minutes. Illysova(spelling) had a nice game for the Bucks tonight as well.

Marc Gasol and Andrew Bogut were both superb tonight:

Marc Gasol - 17 points, 16 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block (8-8 FG's)
Andrew Bogut - 19 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block

Memphis 97-87 over Minnesota
Bucks won 129-125 over Warriors

Bogut shot just 1-6 FT's, he really needs to fix that if ever. Marc Gasol is fast emerging as a top ranked NBA center.
