Not sure about sprinting as I am not a big fan.

But I know in boxing, wrestling, MMA and most other combat sports blacks usually go out on their backs when facing a white fighter on the same level.

In boxing, 16 of the 20 belts from middleweight to heavyweight are held by whites (3 are held by blacks and 1 is vacant).

In MMA, the only elite black fighters are Anderson Silva and Rampage Jackson. The rest are either white Americans, Russians, white Brazilians or (in the lighter weights) Asians.
