You get into the majors by making the cut, not by invitation (unless you're Michelle Wie, that is..) and you are out there playing the game by yourself. No coaches choosing when you can and cannot play, no one determining which events you may enter and which you cannot. Woods is obviously the best in the world at the game of golf right now, and wishing it weren't so because he is Caublinasion won't change the facts. You have to give a guy respect when what he accomplishes is done with his own skill and determination, and not as a result of affirmative action or discrimination against other races or players.

It's quite telling, however, that his is the own black face among hundreds of top players, unless you count Vijay Singh, that is.
