After watching the game today, Tim Tebow is really a good QB with great athletism, but I wonder, what are they gonna do when he is gonna be drafted?Change him to receiver like they did to Matt Jones? I do think that Tebow throw a lot better than Jones, but do you really think you guys that the NFL want a big white athletic QB who LOVE ran over defender?..
I dont know what they are gonna find to surprise us..Because that the nature of Tebow, he love run but unlike Vick, he can throw really good balls.

(I put this thread in the NFL section because i wonder for his future in the NFL)

I think it depends on how well he throws. I haven't seen him play yet on TV. I think the NFL will allow a white QB who is a good scrambler if he has size "and" has good accuracy.

Matt Jones for instance would be a better QB than Gerard for instance, but his throwing skills aren't anything special and he has a bad shoulder which keeps him from putting zip on the ball.

well, one thing i cannot understand, is why, tavaris jackson is now a starter in NFL when in college he was backup to Matt Jones who wasnt enough good to play QB..ridiculous

theres no way tebow isn't a qb in the nfl..and a first round (probly 1st overall) pick at that..the media loves the guy surprisingly since he's an athletic white qb..i've also surprisingly heard a lot of love for jake locker as well.

I love the irony of Tim Tebow. For 15-20 years, the NFL has been looking for the superweapon at QB. They have promoted one black QB after the next in their search for the QB of the future. How ironic that the NFL will finally get its wish when Tim Tebow is the winning Super Bowl QB and the new face of the NFL.

They had the superweapon years back, with Steve Young, and Elway in his youth...

Tebow is scary. He is another one of those crazy lefties like Steve Young and Boomer Esiason. I never saw much of Young when he was younger in the USFL, only when he finally got to start for the Niners in about 91 or so. He had a decent arm then, but Tebow who is only only a true Sophomore seems like he is going to be an all around beast with the atheticsm of a Young and the arm of Boomer. I agree with nhl411, there is no way he doesn't go as a quarterback and I will be tickled pink if he turns out to be the true "Super Weapon" that the NFL has been dreaming of. There will definitely be hand wringing and sleepless nights among the caste proponents concerning this kid. Edited by: Bear Backer

He'll become an undrafted free agent and wallow away his prime athletic years in practice squad obscurity.

The caste will eat him alive, because it's always hungry.

Tebow has too much hype to be ignored. Provided his production holds up, he will be a high 1st round draft pick. Hype is important in today's NFL.
