Looks like AHDIW showed up real big against the Chargers tonight. Phillip Rivers is the man. Eric Weddle should be playing corner, he was fun to watch, making plays all over the field including an interception.

Wow that was another good Christmas present, and after I have already gotten so much today to boot. My favorite player in the entire league, AHDIW just laid a monster egg in the biggest game of the year for the Titans. Only 8 of 21 passing for 89 yards and a cool 2 picks for an amazing 11.9 rating.

Titans lose 42-17 to the Chargers and the fat lady just closed the curtain on All He Do and the Titans season.

Rivers received major prop. from everyone, even the black loving NFL network. Undefeated in December. Impressive.
Chargers could indeed be serious contenders to win the SB.

Weddle played great as usual. He was limping a couple of times here and there. His aggressive, no holds barred style of play is pure Aryan warrior, but we need him healthy for the playoffs so he can shine as the best White DB in the league.

Hester got a couple of garbage time carries. Primarily used as a FB to block for LT.
We still need to have hope that Hester will be allowed to run the ball sometime. Maybe Sproles or LT will get injured.

Do you think Titans did enough recently to save Jeff Fisher's job?
Even if they can his a$$, he will get another coaching job in a heartbeat.

Fisher had a brief period offairness a few years ago when he brought in a number of White defensive players, to the point that roughly half the Titans' defensive players were White, likely the highest percentage of any NFL team in the past 25 years. There was also Drew Bennett starting at WR and a mostly White o-line. The Titans received CF's highest grade in '05, but Fisher quickly remade the team in the Caste way he has otherwise preferred during his long tenure as Tennessee's coach.

There was an article in my local paper yesterday about how Fisher "encouraged" his team after losing the first 6 games. He mentioned something he said to Steve McNair several years ago and the affletes got "choked up" and also made out new schedules for the last 10 games so they would feel like they were playing a new season. It's good that it didn't work for the caste clown.

Billy Volek, now there is another guy who has never been treated exactly right in the NFL and seems to have suffered from the "White Non Franchise QB" tag. Every time he has ever been given a chance to throw more than a few passes he has played pretty well. He did very well the year he was allowed to start in Tennessee, but then promptly disappeared the next year on their depth chart before going to San Diego where he backs up one of the best QB's in the league in Philip Rivers. He is in the later stages of his career now, but it would have seemed logical to me that when he was still fairly young that someone would have looked for him as a potential starter given how there are always a handful of teams either needing an outright upgrade or whom would at least benefit from a little QB competition. I find it hard to believe that in 2005 teams like the Jets, Bills, Bears, Lions or Browns couldn't have used a guy like Volek instead of him rotting behind a washed up Steve McNair and then again in 2006 behind AHDIW.

You're right, Bear Backer, Volek has been good to very good when he gets an opportunity to play. As a backup at San Diego, he's delivered in really big games for the Chargers. The problem with Volek, in my opinion, is that he's not flashy and a little on the small side for an NFL QB. He doesn't have a cannon like Leaf or DuhMarcus, but (unlike them) he knows how to use his tool so to speak and he's really efficient with the ball. He's always produced wins as an NFL QB. Per wikipedia, in 2004, he threw for more than 400 yards in 2 consecutive games. His stats show he gets it done, but jerk Fisher always looked to replace him with another starting QB. Right now, the Chargers are in the cat bird seat with the QB position as they have a great starter in Rivers and a really good back-up QB in Volek.

Volek is a severely underrated QB that is better than any afflete playing QB in the NFL right now IMHO. I can't believe there are still people that think AHDIW is a good to great QB, they must not be watching him play and just going by the biased reports and highlights.

Few black QBs are so terrible as to not be able to play well at times. Even the best (McNabb) is inconsistent, while the others can range from looking very good at times to beyond awful. Young has benefitted from his teammates quitting on Kerry Collins, from one of the best offensive lines in the league (3 Whites and 2 other non-blacks), and far and away the best running back this year. I'm not the least bit worried that Young is going to be a star; he doesn't have the throwing accuracy, brain power or mental toughnessto be one.

Well said. With everybody, you've got to take the whole individual. A person could be the best at something, no matter what it is, but if he/she can't get beyond certain personal traits that thwart their ability to perform, then you've got nothing. For example, many years ago, at an Olympics, the two best 100 yrd dash men in the world, both black Americans didn't show up for their race and therefore a Russian won. If a person doesn't show up, it doesn't matter how good he may be. Same with Vince Young. There are many negative factors with him, he'll never be able to overcome them and always be more or less on the outside looking in.

I saw this time and again with blacks over the years at work. The is nothing luike consistancy in this world.

As cliche that it is, Young makes the Castified coaches, scouts and journalists salivate because his long skinny legs get him out of trouble often. He runs like a jack rabbit out of the pocket. Over time, this of course only stymies a QB's development and also gets him beat up.

Cunningham, Vick, even Steve Young were adept at running from trouble early in their careers.
Cunnighman became good when he learned to read defense, hang in their and actually throw the ball.
Young was in a different class yes, but he was a scramblin man early in his career. Then he took some vicious hits and realized that will only shorten his career.
Vick? Just an afflete. Overrated as well. As a QB, purely terrible.

Young will blow out a knee running for his life someday. Learning the craft of the position does not appear to be 'in his make up'.
Immaturity and being plainly stupid does not help either.

Over the long haul, running QBs who look to run first and throw later only hurt an offense.
Titans will learn this fact soon enough.

In the Titans-Chargers tilt, I noticed that in garbage time, Hester mostly lined up as the blocking fullback for that swift-footed speedster, Mike Tolbert. Tolbert must weigh 280 pounds, and runs like a sumo lineman, but they have 225 pound, no fat, Hester being the battering ram to clear the way for this tub-o-lard. By the way, I heard an interview a few weeks back with a bruva in describing Radio's play, and he didn't use "All He Do Is Win", that would be far too sophisticated. He said, "He Jus' Win Game".
