Here's some highlights from today.
Arkansas QB Matt Jones had a 72 yard TD run. He finished with 126 rushing yards on 5 carries, also threw for 108 (11 of 16). If this guy wasn't white they'd already be hyping him as the new face of the NFL, or the QB of the 21st century.
Peyton Hillis is healthy again and finished second to Jones in rushing with 18/64 and 1 TD.
Notre Dame WR Matt Shelton is 3/127/1 with the game still in the 4th quarter. The next best receiver on ND has 27 yards, yet Shelton still isn't a starter. All he does is blow by defensive backfields and make big play after big play.
Purdue freshman WR Kyle Ingraham had both Purdue touchdowns in the first half, going 6/57/2 at halftime.
Colorado State won big today. Freshman tailback Kyle Bell was the team's leading rusher with 15/39, not a great average but at least they're giving him experience, not benching him after a few carries without any big gains. WR David Anderson had 2 catches for 41 yards and also threw a 34 yard TD pass.
