WBA/WBC/WBO Cruiserweight Title Clash

An all-British title fight between Enzo Maccarinelli and black boxer David Haye has been confirmed for 8th March 08.
A cruiserweight contest between the World Boxing Organisation world champion Maccarinelli and the newly crowned World Boxing Council/World Boxing Association world champion Haye yesterday at a venue to be decided.
Maccarinelli, of Swansea, last fought on the Joe Calzaghe-Mikkel Kessler undercard in November, stopping Mohamed Azzaoui in the fourth round.

Good luck to Enzo! Haye is a tough one but Enzo is a good puncher himself from the bits that I have seen. I would hope they would fight either at Cardiff or maybe Manchester. We'll see. Go Enzo!

I believe the fight is going to be in London, David Hayes home town. Most pundits over here see it as 50/50 with a few giving the edge to Haye as he has more experience and against stronger opposition.

I think that is a fair look at it. I can even understand with it being in London. It just seems like whenever a fight is in Cardiff, the ticket sales go through the roof. No worries. Here's hoping that Enzo can step it up and get the win.
