Still early...At 176 pounds this Ukrainian Light Heavyweight fighter has bricks in his fist as Demetrius Walker found out last Friday Night! Going down on the first shot just 9 seconds into the contest & being knocked down 3 times in just 48 seconds...

Shabranskyy's record is now 10-0 with 8 KO's

He looked very impressive last night, even tho the guy he was in the ring with was just a punching bag.

Shabranskyy will face Paul Parker

His opponent on Saturday night is an undefeated cruiserweight (pictured below). I guess they couldn't find a decent light heavyweight at short notice after the original opponent pulled out.

Thanks for the head's up! Should be a treat getting to watch some undefeated fighters in the middle of the week! Shabranskyy proved he's a heavy hitter back in March knocking down an opponent twice; who had never been down.

BTW Thanks for doing such a nice job keeping this thread going

I see that the Live Stream of the fight was quickly removed from this thread Tuesday evening ....unfortunately not quick enough for me! I got a VIRUS on my computer trying to watch live stream...could have been an $expensive mistake...thankfully my brother will fix it....posting from a lap top now. FS1 did not telecast as previously advertised...it was moved to FS2..

Shabranskyy showed some serious heart...got his legs back in 2nd round quickly &figured out Parker's unorthodox style...then took total control !

On April 15, Shabranskyy will fight on a Golden Boy boxing event in Los Angeles, televised by Estrella TV.

The Ward fans were hoping Shabransky was going to be Ward's next opponent as a "warm'up" for Kovalev. I wonder if Ward would have risked it after how he performed in his last bout?
Ward has already turned down Shabranskyy twice, last fall and before they signed to fight Barrera.

Shabranskyy stays busy, Ward or Kovalev next?

I'd like to see Shabranskyy fight Barrera, Pascal, Chilemba and/or Ward before fighting Kovalev. Hopefully Golden Boy, who think highly of him, can persuade HBO decision-makers to have him on.
