Thought I would post this, as I haven't been on the site in a while. Part of me says that these "awards" are a waste, and (much like our political elections) it's hard to tell if your vote even counts anyway. And we all know what kind of "afthlete" that ESPN likes to promote. Nonetheless, here's a chance to vote for folks like Michael Phelps, Missy Franklin, Buster Posey, Mike Trout, R.A. Dickey, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, JJ Watt, Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Henrik Lundqvist, Alex Ovechkin, Kyle Dake and many others!

I voted as our athletes are ignored and need all the help they can get at BSPN.

I'm busy running through the categories voting for our guys/gals, and I get to the "Best Fighter" category. Really? The list to choose from is Canelo Alvarez, who is whiter than the rest, so I'll consider him, Danny Garcia, John "Bones" Jones, Floyd Gayweather, and Anderson Silva. What a pathetic list to choose from!

FootballDad, those were my thoughts exactly when I arrived at that category! A few of those categories make you choose "the least of the evils," again just like real elections!

Please tell me why Jon Jones is up there and Wlad Klitschko ain't, or another MMA fighter like Jose Aldo or GSP. This year he has only dispatched of two middleweights which is the weight class below his.

Oh yeah, he's black. Gotta saturate the list with as many blacks as possible.
