In 2001 and 2002 against Vick, Urlacher had three sacks, three forced fumbles, an interception and a 90-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Those were two of the best games of Urlacher's career.

Excellent point. Fundamental tackling is almost extinct in the NFL, despite the Bears' tremendous success by doing things the "right" way. It would stand to reason that other teams would emulate their defensive style but the fact is, there aren't many football players out there who have an interest in good, old-fashioned "slobber-knocker" hitting.

I agree completely. Anyone who can't refrain from constant slurs should re-read the posting guidelines. If that's the only way you can express yourself, well there are other boards more suited for you. This site has a positive mission, not a negative one.

Sometimes I think people come here and post racial remarks deliberately to make the site appear more anti-this than pro-white. Its a way of discrediting the main theme of this site, which is that white athletes are stereotyped and discriminated against in professional sports.

I listened to the game courtesy of Westwood 1, the announcers were very impressed with Urlacher. One play in particular with the Falcons going for a firstdown, they described Brian as absolutely destroying Duckett. Anyone see the play?

That was last year when Urlacher was injured, he was "overrated" because he wasn't playing due to injury

How about a source cite? Not that I don't believe you but I'd like to read that story anyway. Or do I have to Google?

Odds are 50-50 that Urlacher will get some credit, since he is already a famous, well-known, dominating athlete. That puts his genetic material just below that of a non-athletic, non-famous, ordinary black person, so its a toss up. No doubt that the non-white half will be seen as an improvement upon Urlacher's strictly white-bread gene, though.

Urlacher is one of the very few white non-quarterbacks who gets publicized by the white corporate media. If this story is true it will only enhance his image and favorable hype. Black athletes with white wives and girlfriendsare a dime a dozen, maybe even the majority. When was the last time anyone saw a white athlete with a non-white wife/girlfriend or child? John Rocker's reported black girlfriend comes to mind, but there aren't many.
