Henin "The Serena Hunter" did it again!

HA, HA, HA...beaten three times in a row now by someone half her size.

Henin is playing really well now. It's going to be hard for the other Williams to beat her.

On the men's side Federer does it again. Stomping Andy Roddick yet again. I'm not sure if Andy Roddick is a big bust or he just has the misfortune of playing in the same era as Federer. Either way the result is the same.

Nadal lost. The media's favorite player got excuses though. "His body betrayed him" etc, etc.... That's what happens when you predicate your success on pure athleticism and not on shot making. Sucks to be you.

Meanwhile the Federer express rolls quietly and inevitably along.

Amazing turnabout by the caste media. Perhaps tennis reporters are a bit less infatuated by black athletes (except to pay the normal PC tribute to past players) and so they are not as reluctant to turn on the bitch.

Williams's words and manner were greeted with widespread disdain.

"Serena was bitter, angry and upset. She directed some of that at Henin. Who could use charm school now?"

Wasn't that refreshing?

John McEnroe is a lefty yet he seems to call it as he sees it. He said women shouldn't get the same pay for their 3 set matches men get for 5 and one time I heard him say Richard Williams "has said some crazy, stupid things" or something to that effect.

Big match today between Justine Henin and Venus Williams. Given the other semi-finalists it is difficult to imagine the winner of Henin-Williams NOT winning the final tomorrow night. So this is like a final as far as i'm concerned. Allez Justine!

And she beat Serena in two other slams this year.

Venus apparently wasn't feeling well during the match.

(snip)

"I just was feeling dizzy, a little sick to the stomach. Was just having some energy problems. I'm not really sure what's wrong with me," Venus said. "But, you know, credit to her for playing well."

Later, the Williams' mother, Oracene Price, who also serves as their coach, revealed that Venus found out she has anemia after winning Wimbledon in July and has been taking medicine for the condition.

Price said her older daughter felt lightheaded and weak during some matches at the U.S. Open, "like the ground was moving."

"You don't know what's going on," Price said, adding that she wants Venus to get fully checked out.

Henin had some trouble breathing early in the second set and said afterward it was something that bothered her the past few days. Told of Venus' discussion of her own health problems, Henin could only smile and say wryly, "I'm surprised."

(snip)

Williams later was physically spent, asking for a trainer to come out and check her pulse and temperature. Right after that, she hit some serves in the 70s while getting broken to trail 5-3 in the second set.

Henin is a force, a one-woman wrecking crew against the cultural marxists.

When it comes to performance and not cracking, she is just like Jeremy Wariner, but much more visible!

She is one Western European that has certainly stepped up to the plate.

Alright ! and I see that--right on cue--a host of excuses are being supplied by the Williamses. And the lame insincere "Oh, I was sick...but give her credit" line from Venus was truly pathetic.

*Another great thing is that this white victory occured during a celebration of the black tennis player Althea Gibson. There was a lot of swooning over her by the media. Well, it's a white final now."

And what's the deal with a name like "Oracene"?

It wasn't easy but Federer advanced to the final tomorrow against Djokovic.

It was a tough straight set win for Federer who was not on his game at all.

Should be a good final as Djokovic has defeated Federer this year once before. Federer has a career record of 4-1 against the Serb.

Of course CBS had to put up the Federer/ Woods "career comparison" graphic. Edited by: Poacher

Hey, if they're comparing him to Tiger, he must be good!

Looks like Henin will cruise to a much deserved US Open title. As I write this she is up 5-2 in the second set after having won the first 6-1.

Henin now has 7 Grand Slam singles titles. That's one more than Venus and one less than Serena and yet Henin is virtually unknown outside of tennis fans. She is also younger than the Williams sisters so she should easily surpass Serena in Grand Slams. Just FYI.

Long live the King! Roger Federer does it again in straight sets. He is by far the most dominant athlete in the world. The only other guy that would be close is Micheal Phelps.

I will say this. Djokovic is only 20 years of age and he is already the #3 Player in the World. I love this kids game. He will be back.

Will King Roger be on the cover of Sports Illustrated this week? One can imagine the last second manuvering going on as this week's issue goes to press. Donovan McNabb? David Garrard? Randy Moss? Justine Hardin or Roger Federer lol.

Federer is a beast.

But straight sets doesn't tell the whole story. The young Serb had 5 set points and Fed won all of them to stave off going two sets down. The match could easily still be going on.

Fed wasn't on his game but when he needed the big points he got them. He has clearly been working on his serve.

As far as SI goes...screw them. Every time they ignore Fed they expose their true agenda to the unawakened a little more. Soon even the dimmest among us will make the connection and take the vaccine as we all have here at CF.

Federer is an all-time great. White Lightning is right, Michael Phelps is the only athlete on the planet now who can lay claim to the distinction of being more dominant in his sport than Fed.

Did anyone catch that Gillette commercial where they have three guys (Tiger Woods, Thiery somebody (a soccer player) and Federer) who were supposed to represent excellence apparently. Two black and one white. The commercial should have been Federer, Phelps and Wariner not an asian golfer, a black footballer and Fed.

If Roger Federer had black skin he would be the major topic and focus of every talk show and media publication. The hoopla would be incredible.

Boy I got to tell you I am amazed also by Justine Henin. She is only 5'5 and feminine looking and is putting an ass whopping on the tennis world right now.

As for Federer, when it's all said and done, he will be the best ever. I think he will be farther ahead, as the greatest of all time, than Tiger in golf and certainly Jordan in basketball (I think Jordan's the best, but he is only arguably the best ever). Wayne Gretzky though in Hockey...Good luck for anyone being that dominant. The guy has more assists on the all time scoring list than the next on the list, Mark Messier, has points.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Federer is already better at tennis than Woods is at golf.

Somehow ESPN has convinced people that golf is not a minor sport with a level of play not much higher than volleyball or skiing. But, it's still a minor sport that few people play competitively. Not that tennis is the greatest game around or anything, but it's much bigger and more competitive than golf.

What a great ending to the US Open. We can celebrate. Henin chops down not one but both of those arrogant W sisters and wins the title her 7th GS and most impressive. To beat the sister act it helps to be athletic--ie(Henin, Jankovic, Clijsters-semi retired, Mauresmo-injured).
But the real capper is my hero Federer. 2 Majors is RIDICULOUS. Si Cover? It is getting far past the point of what the hell is going on . My guess is that coward fool of an editor FINALLY breaks down.. I mean the best athlete in the world. I would take him over Michael Jordan. In otherwords I would not trade a white Michael Jordan over a black Roger Federer. So I am happy as all heck.
Ole Rog is such a great athlete and champion he is too good to be true. Lets party.

James Blake (a black tennis player) called Roger Federer "the best athlete I have ever seen play." Then he was asked by a reporter "do you mean just in tennis?" He replied "no not tennis player, athlete." I am surprised Blake said this.

Not that Federer doesn't warrant that kind of consideration. I'm just surprised it was said by a black rival. I would think the black guy would pick a black in another sport like Michael Jordan.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Did you watch the Federer Roddick match? That was the best tennis I have EVER seen. That was a new level of tennis. The speed and accuracy of the hits was unbelievable. Poacher must be nuts. Roddick cannot possibly play better than that. He serves it faster than anybody in the history of the game.

It's good to see that Blake acknowledges a great white athlete (unlike so many other black athletes--see esp. boxing--who refuse to give whites their due). Blake's an alright guy--just overhyped by the caste media. I would not be saddened if he won a minor tournament or two.

I would be. Undoubtedly he'd be recognized as the greatest tennis player to ever play the game after Arthur Ashe. He'll be labeled a harbinger of things to come, speculation will abound that he will be the 'Tiger Woods' of tennis, yada yada. No, far better that he languish in the shadows for a long, long, time.

It's been suggested.

I still maintain that Roddick is overrated. He has one Slam to his credit (U.S. Open) which is all well and good but then again Jim Courrier has four and he never received the publicity that Roddick does.

Simply winding up and whopping the piss out of the ball is not tennis. It's nice to have a great serve but there is more to the game than that as evidenced by Fed spitting Roddick's 140MPH (!) laser back in his face.
