Butch Davis has been fired from the University of North Carolina.

Apparently nobody ever made a 2011 preview for North Carolina. This good news deserves its own post, anyway.
Of course, no new coach will want to rock the boat in his first season, so Hunter Furr will be buried even further on the depth chart now. But at least this scum is out of college football (for a while, anyway).
 
Yes, that is great news indeed! :wave: Couldn't happen to a nicer guy...or a more arrogant, smirking, self-loathing, pr*ck, I mean. Maybe he can get together with Jim Tressel and Tim Brewster and compare notes as to what was the root cause as to why they were let go.

Here's hoping Dennis Erickson and Ron Zook are the next to join them.

While this is certainly good news, the real key is not only Butch getting fired but Butch staying unemployed. If another university hires him he will just pollute that program with his AA style promotion of negros and further discrimination against more deserving Whites. Also, we don't know if the new coach at UNC will be any better. They could hire some Lovey Smith or Raheem type AA coach and that would hardly be an upgrade.
