DEMETRIOUS JOHNSON VS. IAN MCCALL

If Ian McCall wins he will fight Joseph Benavidez for the flyweight (125 lbs) belt.

Tim Means destroyed Salas for a first round ko,The ref should have stop the fight in the first 30 seconds.

Buddy Roberts looked good in his fight pulling off a UD victory in which he controlled the whole fight.

The former wrestler from Oklahoma Matt Grice dominated Leonard Garcia on the ground to pull out a UD victory.

Mike Pierce won a Split Decision dispite dominating his opponent for 15 minutes. I had it 30-27 pierce along with two of the judges, however one judge had it 30-27 for the other guys.

Pyle (with his mullet-in-progress) KO's "the Dentist".

Silva RNCs Brenneman (who seems a little too 1 dimensional).

And Rory walked right through Pyle, that kid is such a beast. He will probably be fighting Penn at UFC 152 in Toronto if you guys haven't heard. I hope he smashes BJ in the first round.

McCall gets outworked the first round. Hopefully Johnson tires due to the weight cut like in the first fight. I do wish this was 5 rounds though.

Wow - McCall just got worse or Johnson got much better. A great card with some good wins for our guys but McCall just threw a fight away.

"Uncle Creepy" is a good nickname for that mug, he's looks like a weirdo. However, I was pullin' for him to beat the groidian...too bad Creepy couldn't get it done.

Johnson will lose to Benevidez anyways. Personally I don't care don't care about 125.

Roberts, Means, Pague, Grice, Pierce, Wineland, and Pyle all looked impressive today.

Agreed ... I hate these really small weight classes. They will likely be dominated by Hispanics with a few Asians.

UFC should stop at 135 - that is small enough.

At age 9, I was 60 pounds.

At age 13, I was 135 pounds.

At age 16, I was 160 pounds. (And, this was all before I was a serious lifter.) I'm 220 pounds now.

I'm very grateful that I bloomed at about the time many boys do. Who would want to be a 125 pound "adult male?"

I grew much faster than my peers (boys & girl). I think I hit 125 as an 8 year old (at 5'7 or so). By 10, I was about 6'0, 155 at age 170 and grew to 6'5, 205 by 13. At my "physical peak" I was 255-270 (at my current height of 6'8).

I don't think I could get back down to the low 200's (in a healthy manner) now due to my large frame. I'm 340+ now and working back down toward 300 (asap). My goal is "MMA HW" range....hoping to get their by the holiday season this year.
