Both Ellenburgers having a bad spell recently. Neither one uses their wrestling much anymore.
 
Another strange loss for Varner. I think we have seen the last of Jamie. Drew Dober looked good though. Want to see what he can do at 155.
 
Strange card. Riggs and Varner both injured themselves on takedowns. At least they lost to white men!
 
What is it with blacks and making weight? Brunson sick after making 185 so he backed out of his fight with Ed Herman.
 
If only there were alternate announcers I could turn to - watching Gates vs Moraga, don't care about either, but Gates obviously played dirty pool in the 1st round and Rogan and his semitically correct partner could not call it for what is was (yeah, yeah, protect yourself at all times, blah blah). The way the duo was drooling over Gates at the start of the fight I had to wonder about each announcer's sexual orientation.

Rogan is wrong all the time. Gates is a dirty fighter and I hope he gets fed to the wolves in his next fight. Either way great win for Moraga.
 
Yep. Expect no sportsmanship from blacks. Not in their genes. Glad Moraga tapped the boy out.

I was glad Gates was repaid for his "treachery" but then irritated at the "CHICANO" t-shirt sported by Moraga. If some white fighter did something similar he'd catch a bit of hell from Dana White. But likely a white fighter would be pulled aside and told to remove his offending t-shirt before the interview.
 
Is Mitrione a real contender now? He seems to be getting much better the last year.
 
I can see Mitrione v. Overeem next. Struve looked awful though Overroid was a tough comeback fight.
 
Stipe is going to need that wrestling background to change things up. I see this fight as more even than most but Junior only needs one shot to end things.
 
Stipe doesn't have the cardio to go five rounds. Then again no heavyweight does.
 
Stipe was jobbed. They WANT Brazilians, blacks, 'chicanos', anything but whites to win if they can help it. Dos Santos was in trouble a lot more than the other way around. Or maybe I'm just "biased". :lol:



Are heavyweights from Europe not interested in the UFC or is the UFC not interested in them? Just curious as to what anyone thinks. I have my own ideas. There certainly can't be a lack of talent. At least I don't think there should be.

I'm pretty sure Dos Santos is White, obviously not to the average American, who thinks all South Americans are Latino exclusively.

Stipe should have won though.

Dos Santos is part white - I've seen an interview with his him and it showed his parents, so I know he's not full white. I've been to Brazil (and several other countries in South America - like Argentina, where I have relatives - who are originally from Ireland!) so I am well aware there are whites in Latin America. Besides, I grew up smack dab in the middle of multi-culti hell; Los Angeles. I know a lot about who's latino and who isn't. Real latins are Spaniards, Italians... ; )
