I think he realizes that, but a good, charismatic heel persona is a big crowd pleaser and money maker.

I disagree a bit. Chael is very talented and can handle all but the elite of the elite like Jones. He will likely beat Wand, Lil Nog and/or Belfort. I'd give him a good chance of winning a third fight against AS as well - as long as it is at 205 or a catch weight of 195. It is guys like Bader, Evans and Davis who he might struggle against. Those guys might be able to cancel out his wrestling and catch him in the standup (like Bisping almost did).
