Wonderboy should really retire, Buckley is not an elite striker to lose to, he would have won a few years ago.

Almost looks like Poatan was testing his chin this fight, a slow start where he absorbed many punches and leaned into a head kick but was never really hurt, the MW cut made his chin much worse. Bloody stoppage in the fourth round for Poatan against Rountree. In a hypothetical matchup being floated around, I think an MW fight is more winnable for DDP since Pereira would be compromised.

Agreed on Wonderboy, like 5 years ago. He never had power in his prime and now lost his chin. I’ve been critical of him for a while. His laid back Karate style was cool circa 2010. Hasn’t put anyway away since..? Always choked in Title Fights as well. Time to hang ‘em up and get involved as a coach.

Wonderboy is long past his prime, so its actually brave of him to keep coming back and fight despite his age along with the wear and tear due to the nature of the sport.

Poatan looked like he took no damage and mostly just counterpunched and low kicked his way to victory, however I do believe DDP would be able to win if he came down to MW
