I find womens mma laughable, cringe-inducing and it seems to me that the attention it receives in the media is artificial (resulting from PC "duty" to care about it, as opposed to real interest in the fights).

I disagree completely. A lot of these girls got into fighting because they had strong families where they were close to their dads and/or had older brothers that rough housed with them. While the Marxist media may have shone a light on it to empower Feminazism I don't think that it is that way anymore. Marxists are generally against physical violence, being as they are averse to hard work. Combat sports are far more a conservative entertainment source.

I have met Holly Holm a couple of times being we are from the same area, close to the same age, and I did some amateur boxing in my teens. Great girl, level headed, suuuuuuper sweet. I'm serious she is an absolute sweetheart. I enjoy watching her fight, and it sucks seeing her lose. I'm odd in that regard, because I hate seeing women get hurt but I enjoy watching them in a combat sport. Women fight with emotion, so as someone who appreciates athletic endeavors, I appreciate that they leave it all in the cage.

Thats a perspective I can respect. I respect if they fight hard, however it just leaves me disinterested because the level is just much lower and its like watching pee wee football when you could be watching Mike Alstott playing against Bill Romanowski. I guess WMMA just doesnt get me pumped up. But thanks for reminding me that there are competent and likeable characters like Holm in WMMA, who i do root for!

The level of attention the media give to most women's sports (gymnastics, tennis, and figure skating are the exceptions) is certainly artificial and any genuine sports fan can tell that it's forced. There's a reason people say the WNBA stands for Will Never Be Accepted (and is propped up financially by the NBA). A league that caters pretty much exclusively to black lesbians, who make up approximately 0.1% of the American population, has to have forced, artificial attention from the media. A similar situation exists for women's soccer, softball, etc. (and this is coming from someone who played softball in high school and college). If the athletes and managers are constantly making speeches about how they want to be empowered, inspiring role models for the next generation of mini-Hillarys...it's one of "those" sports. You don't see that in a sport like women's tennis, which has an actual, genuine fanbase.

With that said, I respect the fighters of both sexes who have the balls (literally or figuratively) to get in the ring and risk having their faces pounded in. Regarding Holly Holm and the poster who knows her, I'm not surprised to hear those things about her. After she knocked the arrogant Ronda Rousey the **** out, she didn't let it get to her head and she's always seemed like a class act from everything I've seen. No, I reserve my scorn and disgust for the fat, purple-haired feminists who love stirring up trouble in the courtroom but have probably never played a real sport in their lives.

Stipe is a monster. Croatia has given us two of the greatest strikers in MMA History. CroCop effectively ended the careers of two of the sport's best in Igor Vovchanchyn and Wanderlei Silva. (Yes Stipe was born in America, but his parents were both Croatian immigrants).

The UFC thought they were setting up a fading Frankie for a loss, since he lost to Aldo again his last match. The thing is, Frankie is still on the top of his game. Aldo is just a bad match up stylistically for him, hell for anyone. Even McGregor could lose a rematch to him if Aldo fights smarter. Rodriguez was fed to the wolves, in one of the most one-sided beatdowns this side of a Lomachenko fight.

Maia is my dark horse candidate for the 170 pound title. He is still a one-trick pony, but that trick is so good that opponents can't impose their gameplan on him. This allows him to open up his game a bit more and score points with his "improving, but still below average striking game". Wonderboy is still the heir apparent, but I think he needs a win or two to get another title shot. Woodley is tailor-made for Maia, tailor-made.

Oh, and can we get some love and praise for the greatest female Mixed Martial Artist of all time: Sorry Cyborg, sorry Ronda, and while she is the greatest combat-arts fighter of all time (top 10 all time female boxer as well) sorry Holly.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk (pronounced Yen-Dray-Jik for those that want to sound eenlightened) is just on another level.
