GSP has retired but most likely not for good. Jonny Hendricks is white with some American Indian ancestry (like Dan Henderson). Lawlor has a white father and Asian mother. I believe they are both Oklahoma boys. Hendricks comes in the octagon to country music and appears more white than Lawlor. In any event, Lawlor only has a punchers chance.

He left the window open for another robbery decision. Lawler was wobbly and ready to go with about 1 minute to go. If he fired combinations to the head the round would have been 10-8 or stoppage win. Ps I know culturally he is Native American but if the first Natives looked like Hendrix they would have been called Turks, Persians or Babylonians....

Still disappointed in Shield and Condit. I think Woodley and Lombard are both very overrated.

I don't think the GSP fight was a "robbery," personally scored it for GSP 1, 2, 3 and 5.

Also 10-8 denotes complete domination with the other fighter not landing/doing anything, Robbie rocked him with several shots.

From what I have read he self identifies Native American. But I just read his Wikipedia page and now it states he has Dutch, German and Native ancestry with some British ancestry because of the surname Hendricks(unless his Native ancestors adopted that name which was quite common). Getting back to your other point I thought he edged a flat GSP but faded late and let GSP pull an Ali/Leonard and steal the fight by out working him late in their fight.

He said he was part Indian, along with dutch and german. He is not a card carry member of any tribe, like someone on sherdog claimed, nor does he go to any tribe events. Most likely he is at most 1/16th indian just by his appearance alone.
