"TJ Grant, JDS and Gustaffson.... Come on guys, you can do it, let's take all our belts back !!!!!!!! "

White American Eddie Wineland is fighting Renan Barao (who is some sort of racial mixture) for the interim belt at 135 as well.

By the way, welcome back Zeus. I used to enjoy your comments during the European soccer championships last year.

Hey man, thanks. I hope you are well!

Oh I was not aware for Eddie, good luck to him too. I don't consider Barao a "white brother" of course, since he's not fully white, but I don't have a problem with him neither, since he looks like he's a mixture of white with Indigenous. I think he's during his prime right now and White "Hispanic" champ, Cruz, who hasn't fought for ever, might have a problem against him as well.

I want the Heavyweight, LHW and Lightweight titles back the most. Especially this arrogant racist Benson Henderson....I want to see him getting destructed if possible. There's this Russian kid, Khabib something, who will demolish him when he gets the shot.

There's also a Russian undefeated guy in Bellator that they call the "New Fedor". He's a bigger and scarier version of Fedor. His name is Vitaly Minakov, I wonder why Dana "Black" has not signed him in UFC yet.

However the victory of Weidman is the best thing happened in the UFC in the last 5 years.
After white Americans dominating the UFC for so many years with great fighters as Chuck, Randy, Matt etc I was starting to worry a bit. Chris made us proud. I am still excited with his KO victory. I hope TJ Grant destroys this black-Asian clown!

I try to keep up with all the major UFC fights as well as reading all of the MMA posts on this forum however I rarely comment myself. I'm hardly an expert but this has to be the best result since I've been a member of CF.

I'll also admit a bit of extra admiration for Chris Weidman due to his German last name and his Long Island roots. He grew up not far from where I lived for 2 years in college. He went to Nassau Community College first and then Hofstra and I know quite a few people who went to both schools. Humble beginnings for a future champion. I hope he has a long title reign and continues to make us all proud!

Man Im soaking up the fall of the allmighty Silva like a sponge. The negroes, and their worshipers are literally in disbelief. Ive been trolling every forum I can to see just what they have to say, and its hilarious entertainment.

It seems that the most popular opinion among the card carrying DWFs is that this fight was fixed. They seem to believe with full conviction that Silva took a payola to get KOed. After all that is the ONLY explanation if you are convinced that blacks are better/tougher/greater in all ways than whites are.

The reason White hasn't signed with Minakov is because he has a contract with Belator.

That's what I've been reading as well. Supposedly a half serious Silva would have won the fight. All I want now is Jon Jones to go down.

The idiot DWFs dont realize the UFC was hoping Silva would win this fight. It would have given momentum to Silva while paving the way for a fight with jones which they surely would have marketed with a big pay per view audience. There is no vested interest at all for the UFC to pay off a loss for Silva at this point. Silva wasnt taking the "night off", he came to fight and just like he always does, he put his hands down. although it wouldn't have mattered of they were up or not. Weidman is just better. He's stronger, faster and younger with a more complete game. Weidman wins this fight 9 out of 10 times.

BS...that is how Silva fights. He always acts like a fool, especially to the White Fighters, even Damian Maia his own country man...Weidman is a beast. GSP said months ago that he was 100% sure Weidman would beat Silva. GSP has worked out with Weidman and called him a Beast on another level, that to me seems like Weidman may have man handled GSP in the gym. Weidman is for real. He looks flat footed when not engaged, but when he engages he is very powerful and i think he is starting to realize he has a knockout punch that is still not fully developed. Silva in a rematch will bleed by the end of the 1st round.

Exactly you could see in that start of the 2nd round Silva was pumped and taunting before the start. Weidman got him and will get him again. Weidman is for real. He is only going to get better. He has natural skills.

I don't think he looked any quicker than Weidman. Weidman was getting the better of him the whole fight, tagged him several times in round 1.

Silva's quicker. Even this clip reveals his hand speed. Sure he throws a lazy kick in there but that is part of his deception. He taunts, he appears to relax, he does all these things to draw an opponent in, in order to counter.

The real key here is that MMA is a grappler's sport. The striking is the MORE commercial aspect of the sport. Certainly, it pays to have a well-rounded game and Wideman showed good punching power by taking Silva out but his real advantage was on the ground. I definitely think that Wideman would have won, regardless, but his advantage was in the ground game. Wideman is younger and stronger. Faster, quicker? One thing is for certain, Silva was not as quick that day as he thought he was. He's got an outdated perception of his abilities.

The good news is that strength is as or more meaningful in this sport than speed. As it would be in a real fight. As opposed to boxing (where it also matters but less).

And as far as striking goes (in both sports) it all comes down to measuring and timing your punches. Making sure you connect and follow through on the shots that matter and not on the ones that you effectively miss. The alternative is playing patty cake or lounging into an exposed position. And this is where the fine line between what we generally call speed and power/strength is found. It's training, it's instinct, it's what makes a fighter. So maybe we are splitting hairs but...

Anderson Silva has a ton of weaknesses, has been exploited in many of the fights he has won. Chael, Hendo, Lutter, and Murray have all gotten him on him back. He's lost every round against Chael, and has lost rounds in other fights. His Cardio was exploited in the Maia fight, and Weidman exploited his standup.

I see TJ Grant is out of the title fight with the racist Afro-Asian :icon_rolleyes:

Well I hope Pettis beat again this Benson guy. Anyone who beats Benson will be good in my eyes, even a Negro. After Benson making racist remarks against Sonnen and white fighters in general, he's in the black list for me!
