UFC 155 : JDS vs. Cain 2

Creepy Joe is awesome but I was definitely way overestimating his stand up. He doesn't throw many combos, seems to throw a right straight while covering up and pressing forward but doesn't go for clinch or takedown then separates. It's weird.

Should definitely be FOTN.

That was a dadgum good scrap there! :thumb: Miller definitely won it, but Lauzon is a tough hombre. Those two looked like someone dumped a bucket of Sherwin-Williams cherry red on 'em.

Looks like JDS prepared just to stop Cain's takedown attempts and NOT Cain's boxing. JDS underestimated Cain's hands and was caught early. Now, JDS is gassing and Mud Pride's on him like a cheap suit. Ol' Two Saints probably thought he'd allude Cain's takedowns and KO him (again) early.

If JDS improves his cardio, I think he could take the strap back (IF they have a rubber match). He's strong with an iron chin and has superior striking. His under-estimation of Cain's hands (w/ that one punch), lacking cardio cost and game plan (hands low and eating alotta punches), cost him the title. JDS should have capitalized on stopping Mud's 1st few TD attempts.

Besides Jury & Varner's wins, not a great night for (all around) caste match-ups.

I don't know. We went 2-1 in black v. white matchups. Varner and Jury beat two black hypes and Brunson barely beat a past it Leben.

Very bad night for Dos Santos but at least he showed heart in making it to the final bell.

It was hilarious to hear Rogan during the fight go on and on about Cain's legendary cardio while the brown pride dude was gassed to hell.
