Bonnar might be tougher than expected and he could last the whole fight. I hope he can take the fight to the ground.

Yeah, Weidmann can take him down. Bonnar is a journeyman and not a wrestler but was winning the first round on points until he got caught.

Bonnar is a brawler w/ solid BJJ and no (A level) wrestling. I didn't think he'd get the victory. :icon_sad:

Also, Dave Herman looked like he was going half-speed or fooling around out there. What was with keeping the lead hand/arm extended?? He doesn't have the hand speed for that mess! He also didn't even try to defend that takedown. Not to sound like our pal Big Unreal, but Herman's lackluster "performance" almost looked like he was taking a dive (to help the UFC keep marketing/hyping Big Nog). :suspicious:

Bonnar only got the shot because it was his retirement match. Bonnar is expected to become an announcer for UFC.

Herman just sucks. He doesn't train and doesn't take the sport seriously. They should have cut him a long time ago.
