No surprises here. Only 3 white players taken. Reid seems to forget that the white players he happens to draft become impact players almost immediately (see: Chris Gocong, Stewart Bradley, Sean Considine). Here's what we have so far, with no free agent signings to my knowledge:
Mike McGlynn, OT, Pittsburgh
Mike Gibson, G, California
Andy Studebaker, LB/DE, Wheaton
This one interests me. A small-school talent with the versatility and extreme athleticism that Jim Johnson values in his scheme. I wouldn't count him out of a roster spot.
Despite all of the flip-flopping of picks, I'm not super impressed at what the Eagles picked up this year. I'd like to see what rookie free agents they bring in, but it appears that the Eagles ended up with one of the blackest draft classes this year. Guess I'll have to pull for Studebaker...
Edit: Update: Eagles sign 7 UDFAs, including Jed Collins, FB, Washington State. FB is a contested position for all intents and purposes, so watch this kid.Edited by: PhillyBirds
